  1. Oh, jesus christ on a stick. I'm using CPU-Z and it's perfectly fine. I had just got done downclocking it so it now shows 3066. I appreciate the help, friendos. Sorry for taking up a post spot.
  2. I noticed my RAM was only showing at 1533 or sometimes 1600, despite being rated at 3200. I'm running the AMD Ryzen 2700 on an MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard with an RTX 2070. I've gone into the BIOS and enabled XMP Profile 1 already and even changed the manual override to 3200. It's still showing the same 1533. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the timing or I'm maybe missing something. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Yeah, I was hoping that wouldn't be the case but I have a feeling I won't need it anyway. Christmas sales should be going on around that time so it'll hopefully be that much cheaper. Any ideas for an amp, just in case?
  4. I don't understand what this is supposed to mean.
  5. I'm trying to avoid spending more money while getting some peace of mind that my mobo sound will be able to drive the headphones. It doesn't have to be a problem, sure, but my finances say otherwise.
  6. The motherboard is an ASUS Z97-A. Sorry, I forgot to mention that.
  7. Hey folks. I purchased the Massdrop x Sennheiser 6XX and am currently waiting for them to be delivered. I've been doing some research and have found that although my onboard sound (Crystal Sound 2 - ALC 1150) is good, I can't find the appropriate measurements to see if they can power the new headphones. I'm willing to drop more money on a DAC/AMP but I want to avoid doing so if possible. The 6XX have a 300 ohm impedence rating and I have no idea where to look to check on my mobo's limit.
