  1. Thank you! I changed my RAM and PSU per your suggestion. Can i ask how exactly the aftermarket variants differ from one another? More specifically, how is the one you recommended better?
  2. The GTX 1060 vs RX480 is a big decision. I am aware that 1060 is slightly better, but i prefer AMD for non objective reasons. My storage situation is a little complicated and i will be sticking with the 500gb SSD. The processor you suggested sadly costs 100 euros more than the i5 6500. I still want to purchase from the local retailer because of convenience and it's easier for me to resolve warranty related issues. I would like to not have a smaller than 500w power supply in case i wish to overclock somewhere down the line. What is the reason for suggesting the ASRock motherboard over what i picked? Edit: I can not tell the difference and advantages between the 2 motherboards. I'd like to know if there is something i'm not aware of there.
  3. You added the Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply to my list. The retailer i am purchasing from does not have it available (i live in Latvia) Would a Corsair ATX 2.31 VS Series 550W CP-9020097-EU be a good alternative? Thank you very much for the advice. i have adjusted my list
  4. Hello! I want to build a 1080p gaming PC that can also handle light video editing and programming on a 2 monitor setup. This is my current build http://de.pcpartpicker.com/user/SirHamaster/saved/4wWbvK I would honestly like to make this a little cheaper than it currently is. I have a hard time deciding if i want 4gb or 8gb of vram on the RX480. The reason i chose the 8gb one for now is because i like modding Skyrim and future proofing sounds like a good idea. I also chose a monitor that supports FreeSync. I have never used it but i've read that it can improve your gaming experience. I do not plan on overclocking for now, so i will be settling for the stock GPU cooler with the plan of buying one if i wish to start overclocking. I am pretty set on the 480gb ssd (i already own an old 1tb HDD that i will use in this build) The plan regarding RAM is to get a single 8GB stick for now and buy a second one later when i have a little more money. I would like to know if someone smarter than me can suggest an alternative for any of the parts or a potential downgrade that wouldn't decrease the performance significantly. Also if anyone disagrees with any of the reasoning i explained earlier i would like to know why. P.S. I apologize for any grammar or spelling mistakes. English is not my primary language. Edit: I forgot to mention that i do not care much about the looks of the case. The Deepcool Tesseract seemed like a very good, cheap and aesthetically pleasing case
