  3. Hi so I have a really annoying problem with my PC in my room. My PC has a 4 bar excellent signal strength but when it comes to watching YouTube videos, going on skype and playing games it's awful... but only sometimes. You see some days it works fine and some days it is REALLY bad! My ping on my games sometimes goes to 700! All my other devices in my room work perfectly fine. I cant move my PC downstairs because my Dad is using that area as his office. I am not able to move my Internet Router because it has this white cable coming out the wall and into the router so it can only be in 1 place, but my bedroom is right above where the router is so there shouldn't be a problem. I am using a wireless Bluetooth Internet Adapter with 300mbs. I'm not sure if its the rest of my family clogging up the internet or what. It just doesn't make sense how I can have 4 bars but awful internet Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
  4. Hi will this cooler fit inside this case? Cooler Master Hyper 212X Air CPU Cooler: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-Hyper-RR-212X-17PK-R1-Heatpipes/dp/B01ARGVNV6/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1499710575&sr=1-1&keywords=212x Cit G Force Gaming case: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CiT-Force-Gaming-Case-Front/dp/B01D1QI0YW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1499711222&sr=8-3&keywords=g+force+case Responses are appreciated
  5. So I am getting the i7 7700k CPU and the Gigabyte Z270-GAMING-K3 motherboard. From the website I am buying from it states this about the motherboard "Up to 32GB Dual Channel DDR4 2400MHz memory" so does this mean that the motherboard can not have RAM that goes over 2400MHz? That statement just doesn't seem right to me since most modern motherboards can have over 2400MHz. And also which fan would you guys recommend getting? I can't afford anything above £30 so I was thinking the ARCTIC Freezer 13 https://www.amazon.co.uk/ARCTIC-Freezer-Multicompatible-pre-applied-Performance/dp/B0048F64DU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499704248&sr=8-1&keywords=arctic+freezer+13 or the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Air with 4 heatpipes https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-Hyper-RR-212E-16PK-R1-Heatpipe/dp/B0068OI7T8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1499704398&sr=8-2&keywords=cpu+fan All responses are greatly appreciated
  6. Hello I need some help deciding on whether to get a new 144hz monitor or upgrade my PC (Everything but the GPU) I currently have an AMD FX 6300 and a GTX 1060, and BENQ RL2455HM 60HZ monitor. I use this monitor for both PC and Xbox One gaming. I'm not getting the full performance out of my current parts because I run my games at 60fps due to the screen tearing. I would like to upgrade my PC because of the bottlenecking, however I would be running games at 60fps because screen tearing really annoys me, but then I wouldn't be getting the full performance out of my new parts... (I would be getting a core i7 6700k, 16gb of RAM and i haven't decided on the motherboard yet) It would also be nice to play new games that I can't currently play with my current specs. So now my problem lies here, do I upgrade my PC first or upgrade my monitor first. Any responses are greatly appreciated!
  7. Hi, I am looking for a GTX 1060 graphics card but I am quite confused. I am fairly new to PC's, and i'm confused on GPU size. There are smaller GTX 1060 cards and bigger GTX 1060 cards. For example the EVGA Superclocked GTX1060: https://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-GeForce-Superclocked-Express-Graphics/dp/B01IOWT538/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478353858&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=gtx+1060+evga+suoerclocked and the Asus Turbo GTX 1060: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-TURBO-GTX1060-6G-GB-Graphics-Card/dp/B01IPFMVCQ/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1478353935&sr=1-2&keywords=gtx+1060 Is a bigger graphics card better than a smaller one, or am i just thinking that bigger is better? If any one could answer my question it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks. James
