It’s Ubuntu and another Linux build. It loads up before windows boots. But will auto load windows after a few seconds. There are 2 drives. C: m.2 256gb which I wiped and reinstalled windows on, and a 1tb d: that I reformatted. It’s a Alienware if that helps.

Hello all, I’ve recently purchased a laptop that was setup to dual boot. I’d like for it not too but I can’t seem to figure out how. I’ve reinstalled windows, and even tried to consolidate the disk. Any help would be much appreciated.

Well even the 1700x streams better than my 1070 does. But I'm just getting early ryzen problems in game, microstutter and what have you. I thought I saw the 3rd series a bit of a boost to the IPC actually making a 3600x a better gamer than the 2700x. Just not sure about the stream quality with the fewer cores

I've got an x52 I'll have to check the case specs, not sure a 240 will fit in there. Was kinda wanting to move to air though.

My friend is having an issue with his Gigabyte mobo. The hdd stopped reading, my first assumption was probably a dead drive, but started walking him through possible solutions. Ie: clearing cmos, trying a different sata port, cleaning evening out, blah blah blah. We get to reinstalling windows at which point it asks to install hard disk driver, after a quick search I assume it's taking about sata /ahci, the problem is in not sure how to get the driver installed and I don't have access to the computer personally. So some quick advice to get through this would be appreciated. TLDR; How do I install the sata/ahci driver on the Gigabyte ga78lmt mobo without being able to get into windows?
