  1. I was thinking about upgrading my ram. Currently I have 2x4gb of ddr3 ram. I currently have a MSI H81M-E33 motherboard. I was wondering if Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB DIMM DDR3 SDRAM Memory would be compatible with my motherboard. I'm having difficulty online finding exactly what SDram even is, and the pros and cons of it. Any help would be great! Thanks!
  2. If I completely wipe my PC and use a USB installed with Windows 10 to reinstall my OS, can I put some files such as game files in the same USB that will be used to reinstall Windows?
  3. I want to be able to listen to both my PC and Xbox audio at the same time. I also want to talk to my friends on either Xbox or PC. I was wondering if 1 4pin 3.5mm female splitting into 2 4pin 3.5mm male would do the trick. (2 male outputs into Xbox and PC. Would use adapter to convert the female into male for my headset). Would this splitter work? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M315XJT/ref=sspa_dk_detail_6?psc=1 Also would there be any downsides to this over something like a mixer?
  4. Asus is a joke with their support and trust me I have visited dozens of posts and tried everything.
  5. Have already seen this video and disabled the integrated graphics.
  6. Ever since I upgraded from a GTX 750 1GB to a 1060 6GB as well as a new power supply (Evga Supernova 750 Watt G2) I have had black screen problems. Randomly while using my pc but more frequently like gaming, my monitors go black for a second and then come back to normal. In some cases, they go black until I restart my pc. Earlier today I was playing Warframe and Watching Netflix at the same time (2 Monitors) and both my monitors went black. After replugging both HDMIs I got my main monitor back on (First time this had ever happened), only it seemed to be in a very low resolution. I changed it to 1080p in the control panel but it still looked very warped. I took a look at device manager and it said my GPU had either software or hardware problems and would need to restart to see the effects. I then switched the HDMI ports on the GPU and I got my other monitor on, but the main off. Only 1 of the HDMI ports on the GPU displayed anything. The black screen problems happen randomly but seem to mostly happen while gaming (varies from Witcher 3 to CS:GO to Warframe).
  7. Ram is definitely not the issue. 8GB is more than enough for most games.
  8. Make sure you aren't in power saving mode, this can be changed in the Windows power plan. Also, make sure that if there is an ECO switch on the back of your PSU that it is turned off. Might not help you completely, but it is a step. If there is a power option that AMD provides, I would also turn that to max performance.
  9. Whenever I change something like the screen brightness, either in Nvidia control panel or Windows Color Calibration it stays for a second and then just reverts back to what it was originally! It simply won't let me change anything with my monitor's colors! Help would be extremely appreciated!
  10. If you want I could help you out somewhere other than this thread... because something is definitely not right lol.
  11. Thanks, both dangeredwolf and ARikozuM for letting me know. I guess I'm just paranoid.
  12. Sorry if I sounded a bit aggressive now that I look back at it. Yes, there will definitely be some studdering. It likely won't be the smoothest experience, but playable. My 1gb ran GTA 5 at about medium settings without any other additions. You will have to turn off things like AA to get the performance you want. Honestly, if the GTX 750 1GB is your only choice you won't be able to run upcoming titles. If I were you I would save up some money to buy a more powerful card if at all possible.
  13. Then your GPU isn't the bottleneck... my 1060 can run at almost max settings with some stuttering. This is caused by my lack of ram(8gb) and the fact that I run it on an HDD.
  14. I got it about 2 years ago.
