  1. So since I was scared about my power supply being able to handle a Fury, I used http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/ to determine the recommended watts needed to power my setup if I had a Fury, and here's the result: So it seems like my 550w should be fine.
  2. Here's a couple reviews I watched, and neither said that the pixel density was a problem.
  3. I've heard lots of good things about ultrawide monitors, thought it would be a nice upgrade from my current 1080p x 1920 60hz 5ms monitor
  4. I'm not buying the monitor now, waiting till I can find it for around $500 and not $700. And I don't need a Titan X or something to run it because it's only 1080p, but I still want something that can get close to that 144hz.
  5. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153172 I'm pretty sure it's this one, or something very close to it
  6. So I know that all of you are recommending the Fury, but in the video posted by Droidbot, the guy reccomends having a 600w or 700w power supply, but I only have a 550w 80+ bronze power supply, will this be a problem?
  7. Thanks guys! Seems like it's an obvious choice then
  8. So I just built a new PC a few months ago, and I'm looking to upgrade my monitor. I've decided on this LG Ultrawide one, but in order to take advantage of the full 144hz, I need a new graphics card. I was thinking about getting a GTX 1060 or 1070, but the monitor has Free sync, so I need to go AMD. I have narrowed it down to two graphics cards: RX 480 Strix 8GB: $215 after rebate R9 Fury 4GB: $240 after rebate I've done some research, and the Fury seems to perform better in games, but the 480 has 8gb of vram and it costs $25 less. Which one should I get? Here's my current setup: i5 6600 16 gb ddr4 GTX 760 550w Power Supply And finally, if I really wanted to get the cheapest deal, I could go with this 4gb RX 480 for only $165 after rebate.
  9. Okay, so Windows 10 has this new feature were when you press Win + G, a bar will show up at the bottom with some options, one of them being recording. When I click on it, it says my PC isn't good enough, but when it tells me what I need, it looks like it should be able to record. It says I need: NVIDIA: GeForce 600 series or later, GeForce 800M series or later, Quadro Kxxx series or later. Intel: Intel HD graphics 4200 or later, Intel Iris Graphics 5100 or later. The thing is, I have an 15 6600 and a GTX 760, so I should be able to record. My graphic drivers are up to date and when I try to install the most recent graphics for my processor, it says again that my PC doesn't meet minimum requirements. Any advice is appreciated.
  10. Here's some of my personal favorites: Logitech G502 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019OB663A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_c6tAybR2MBCAT K70 Rapidfire https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D8H09TS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_l7tAyb73M561Y I don't have any recommendations for a new headset, sorry
  11. I use my i5 6600 with the stock cooler and it works great. Never gets above 60°
  12. I had the same worries when buying this mouse because everyone said it wasn't good for large hands. I have been using it for a couple days now and I love it, it fits perfectly.
  13. It is a risk, but if you like the game, chances are they'll make good additions in the DLCs. If you want to play it safe, buy the base game, wait for the first DLC, then see if it's any good.
