Hello to all participants of the LTT forum. First of all, sorry in advance for my English, as I'm not a native speaker. I have a technical conundrum that I wish you could help me with or provide any ideas.
I have a .cdr file created by Disk Utility in 2012, which should be some kind of .iso in terms of format, and according to Finder, it's a "Master DVD/CD-R Image." This file is password-protected, and I never manage to guess the password. Every time I clean up and organize my backup disks, I come across it, and the curiosity comes back to me.
I am certain that I created it (back then, I was obsessed with Fabri Fibra - an Italian rapper - and indeed, the file is named fibra.cdr). It is probably just an ISO image of a concert DVD (as it weighs around 4.5 GB) that I may have encrypted to share via Torrent or something similar. I forget what I had for lunch, let alone things from 11 years ago. I am too curious to find out what's inside and I cannot remeber for the life of me. I would even pay to have it opened, as long as it's done locally via TeamViewer - VNC. Since I have no idea what's in it, I don't feel comfortable sending it to someone.
Do you have any ideas or can you point me in the right direction? I'm on Mac but have access to a very low spec laptop Windows PC if needed.
Thanks to all, and have a great summer!
