  1. I had also idea to just mount everything on back side of drawer cause there is room but changed my mind cause of dust. Could also mount everything to the wall but dust
  2. Idea is to either atach everything to a piece of board or aluminum sheet so it can be pulled out for easier working on it. Front panel is no problem, furniture hinges or with magnets, there are multiple solutions
  3. I did some thermals testing and looks like il need to up my cpu cooling, i read that 5800X3D is runing a bit hot but around 80C not almoust 90C. Thats under Cinebench load. Actually GPU is runing cooler than CPU What do you think guys ?
  4. those are dimensions of the bottom of the drawer, but there is stilol room betwen that and carcase wall, just enough to squiz it in
  5. Example number 1 is with board laying down flat i would really wanna avoid buying new components since i live in place where i wont be able to sell that rad. And it cant fit in just one drawer since there is no enough space for power supply and GPU is to high
  6. My understanding of this GPU-s with three fans is that they blow warm air all around them. So it would basically blow warm air all over case
  7. Something like this ? Workload is Gaming, some fusion 360, ordinary stuff. Im not pushing it to the limit. Yea i dont really care to much how it looks, want to have it functional and quiet as possible. Lenght 520 mm Width 298 mm Hight 130 mm That is with those sides facing us on pictures removed
  8. Hello guys, I have my pc built inside SILENT BASE 801 and I love that case but this thing is huge which wasn't a problem till recently. I moved to a smaller apartment and had to downsize my pc desk so now that beautiful case is a problem and in a way. My fix for a problem is to stuff components inside the drawers of my IKEA Alex drawer element. I did some research on the subject on forum but those post are old. So I have a few examples of how that would come together but would like the input of more experienced enthusiasts Some guidelines about design: -silence and thermals would be a top priority -couldn't care less about RGB fans and such things (i know I have RGB on the motherboard and RAM but not by choice) -I own a 3d printer (310mmx310mm) so brackets, fan ducts, and fan grills wouldn't be a problem to make -do not want to change any components (just upgraded CPU and RAM) -open to adding some fans if needed Things I'm working with and are at my disposal: -2x be quiet pure wings 2 140 mm -1x be quiet pure wings 2 120 mm -CORSAIR Hydro Series H100x Let's start with some examples I came up with (keep in mind this was put together with CAD files I was able to find online, dimensionally accurate or slightly bigger than my components) : 1. This example is with 2 front intake 140 be quiet fans and one 120 be quiet fan is missing on top of the 240mm radiator as the exhaust on the picture It could be tight fit in this configuration. And one thing that bothers me here is that all that warm air from GPU, Drives and MOBO would mostly go through CPU radiator but I only have to sacrifice 2 drawers 2. This one is more like traditional PC case orientation which would give me more room to work with and to mount drives ( HDDs and SSDs are not in picture since they can be mounted basically anywhere) Still woried about all that hot air going throu CPU radiator mostly, and 3 drawers are taken by pc 3. Adding one extra 140mm fan for intake to match 3x120 mm on exaust which should in theory give me positive pressure situation 4.Masive 6 x 140 mm front fan cluster with CPU radiator and 2 x 120mm fans as exaust This config could give me option to ramp down those fans and maybe achiev lower noise lvls but not sure if exaust fans would be enough. Maybe adding more 120 mm exaust fans ? So there are endless variations of the above configs, moving this fan here or there, and so on. And that's the part where I need help from you. And I'm not trying to make an overkill build ( I know that 6x140mm fans look cool on the front with some custom 3d printed grill but if not necessary I would rather save 50€ in new fans) so feel free to be brutally honest. Also if you have any recommendations on where and which cables to get for the front io feel free to share (need like 2 USBs and power/reset buttons) Thanks for your time
  9. Just update, got CPU today and just finished installing fresh windows. I can see a difference just qith booting up, runs beautifully and 32GB or of RAM runing at 3600 no problem. Time to do some gaming and chek difference. Thanks for advice guys
  10. I wonder if there is a way to remove windows install from a drive without formating it. Had some hardware isues and in process of troubleshooting I installed fresh windows on another disk cause original one got corrupted. Have a loot of data on that one and would like to avoid finding space and moving all of that in order to format it.
  11. Thanks guys for your help, 5800x3D is ordered
  12. 5800X3D it is then. All in one water cooler I have should be compatible with it ?
  13. I dont get it, 5900x has 0.3 GHz higher base and turbo than 5800x3d but lower performance in games ?
  14. Not sure whats wrong but I tried today with all kinds of wizardry after googling for few hours and could get memory above 18xx
