  1. Hello everyone, I have 4k 28" samsung monitor (Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch UHD LED-Lit Monitor with Freesync support https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YD3DBOC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Bj1JybBKXDR6V) I want to buy second Led monitor for dual monitor setup. My current monitors height is 375mm. I want to buy something matches with this measurement but the problem is my desk is not big enough to have 2x28" monitors. So i need to buy something else. The first thing that came to my mind was to buy a monitor that, its width matches with height of my current one so i can use it 90 degrees turned. I found out that there are lots of possibilities. I found a 19" 5:4 Dell monitor (Dell Professional P1914S 19" Screen LED-Lit Monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FZ2AQOI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_iD1JybYG64R7Z ) that can be used 90 degrees. So what do you think ? Is that good or do you have any suggestion that i can buy? What disadvantages will i have with a 5:4 monitor. Please don't mind the tv. It will be gone. Thanks Bora
  2. well i have taken a look at EVGA FTW edition but i heard that some EVGA cards have some issues (catching fire). So i am afraid of buying a EVGA.
  3. I live in Turkey. They may not ship to Turkey which Amazon does. I will have problems in Custom House if i buy from other websites. Amazon makes me pay taxes and import fees up front so that i don't have any problems receiving items. Sometimes Turkish Custom House seize items but i heard and confirmed that i will not have any problems with Amazon.
  4. Hello everyone, I plan to build a 4K gaming PC this Black Friday. You can see items i picked in the attachment. This is my max budget. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/JYtzkT I have Corsair Graphite 780t black case and Samsung LU28E590DS/UF 28 inc 4K monitor. I will probably buy one more GTX 1080 for sli next year or sooner because one 1080 is not enough for ultra 4K gaming as far as i saw on the internet. I am still not sure about Founder's Edition graphics card. I love the look of reference design and always wanted to own one of them. This is first chance for me to own one. BUT... Asus Strix GTX 1080 gives more fps, works coller and quieter. Actually every review i saw on the internet was on Asus Strix GTX 1080 OC but i plan to buy one that boost its clock to 1835 mhz not 1936 mhz. It is 40 dollars more and i have already exceeded my budget. I may think if OC one has good discount on Black Friday. One part of me says "You will do sli 1080 in the future. Buy whichever you find handsome" but the other part of me says " You will need that extra 5-8 fps for 4K and it works cooler as well aaand quite also. Go for strix". I will go mad! My heart says "Founders Edition" my brain says "Asus Strix". I can overclock to have that extra 5-8 fps but i have never done it and i am worried about lifespan of graphics card. Will it shorten its lifespan? It will obviously work hotter when overclocked. I would've wait for 1080ti if i wasn't going to buy all components on Black Friday. I have few similar items of each components that i follow for Black Friday. (if it will be cheaper or not) Any suggestions about graphics card or other parts? Please help me decide Setup.bmp
  5. Thanks a lot to both of you guys. Much appreciated If you were to choose between Asus Strix and EVGA FTW, which one would you choose? and why? I will buy all components next month on blackfriday and i will buy one gpu for now. As far as i read 1080ti may or may not release on Jan 2017. I don't really have that much time since i have no computer right now and also i will buy components on blackfriday sale. So budget is not enough for sli right now. Maybe next blackfriday. So you are saying that onw 1080 may not have enough performance for 4K ultra gaming, am i right? So do you think buying FE card just for its look is a stupidity or not? Right now MSI 1080 FE is cheaper than all other aftermarket cards and i really love the look of it. I always wanted to buy one but i am concerned about performance, heat and life. Thanks again
  6. I am building a pc for 4k gaming. My case is Corsair Graphite 780t full tower. I am really confused which Gtx 1080 to buy. I see linus and all other channels use Founder's Edition cards. I really like the look of Founder's edition (a.k.a. Reference cards) but i know that they work way hotter and with less fps while gaming than aftermarket cards. Do you think buying Founders Edition card will be stupid act? What other downsides or upsides of FE cards are? How much performance gap are there between aftermarket and FE cards? My other option is Asus Strix. Can i put sli bridge between different cards? ( like asus strix and founders edition )
