I have hp 15 ay011tx notebook which supports ddr4 ram 2133 mhz but the ram of my laptop is not working so i was jus asking if i replace the current ram with a higher frequency ram like ddr4 2400mhz since its cheaper then the 2133 mhz so is there any chance that my laptop would stop working. please help

Product: Hp Notebook - 15-Ay011tx Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit) I want to add a 8gb ram in my laptop so that the total memory in my laptop becomes 12gb(since the laptop already came with 4gb of ram).i want to ask if i should go for it or not.Since i know there is technology called dual channel in rams. So what should i do.Also whether or not is it a good idea since there can be frquency issues as well. Also i cant find out the ram having same frequency as my laptop has i am from india and i had uploaded the ram photo please help.

well i am planning to use an internal network card so that it can be puposely used as router.Also it will take less space.Which option will be cheaper a network card or a router.And yes i want to make this server as a media server so that device which are allowed to access the server can use this as a storage center but only with wireless connection.

I want to repurpose my old pc for a local media center through which i can remotely access the data present in the data in my laptop,pc,tablet(android),IOS , T.v. the plan is to make a local media center without internet,I am planning to spread the data of my server in my home through network card offline.Is it possible.Help me it would be a great help since i dont know much about servers.
