  1. I was unplugging cables so I could replace the PSU with a newer one. And this one proved to be very difficult to remove, It appears to have been glued in place? Is that common among prebuilt computers? Does it serve a purpose other than annoying the paying customer? And does anyone know how to remove it without damaging to much? (Sorry for the blurry picture)
  2. The entire front of the PC can let air through as well as vents on the side and some on the back. Although those are mostly for the graphics card.
  3. What if I use a more capable cpu cooler than a stock one? Orange used to make these, I think they are discontinued now, but the design is quite simple. The back plate has a tray where the computer is built on and then you screw it to the back of the Amp cabinet. So it's easy to work on since everything lifts out of the cabinet.
  4. Budget (including currency): A bunch in SEK and or EUR Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: General computing, programming, some games. The coming version of Microsoft Flight Simulator will probably be the most demanding. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have a case that was originally a guitar amplifier. And it fits a Mini-ITX motherboard a PSU with the dimensions 8.5 by 14 by 15 cm. Is that PSU size a standard size and what is that standard called? I will re use the SSD I already have, I have a Gigabyte GTX 1650 Mini ITX OC 4G graphics card that I think works but I can replace it if necessary. I was thinking a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi motherboard with a Ryzen 5 CPU. But I'm not sure if the Ryzen 5 "3000" series is the same as third generation Ryzen that Gigabyte says is compatible with this motherboard. And I was thinking of a new PSU, modular, quieter at 400-450W, since The GTX-1650 draws quite little power. The card I have only draws power from the motherboard and if I understand correctly that means it draws quite little power. I realize that the coming Flight Simulator is really demanding, but I still will prioritize the guitar amplifier case since it's really cool. Summary, does a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi with a Ryzen 5 and Gigabyte GTX 1650 Mini ITX OC 4G with a 400-450W PSU seem like a sound build? Here is a picture of the case I have
  5. It's the ones just underneath the graphics card. And If I was careless when inserting removing the card, I might have bumped them.
  6. It doesn't seem to have worked. The same thing, no picture, but the fan is spinning. I will admit that i can't remember if the computer used to beep when booting when everything was working and I don't think the motherboard have a built in beep-speaker. Anyway, it doesn't seem to have worked. I have found a couple of capacitors that feel a bit loose. They kind of wiggle when nudged, that could perhaps be an issue?
  7. It gave me a menu to choose from bios configurations I think. Since I hadn't plugged in my keyboard, I couldn't choose one. And I can't plug in the power to the graphics card, it draws its power from the pci-e slot. It doesn't have a power connector. The only cable I unplugged was the one for the old graphics card and I assume when trying to boot without 3rd party graphics, I shouldn't seen to plug it in anywhere?
  8. So I decided to upgrade my graphics card from a GTX-650 TI, a brand I'm unsure of what it is. To a Gigabyte GeForce GTX- 1650 ITX OC 4GB. After installation the only screen I got was a message saying it can't post. So I decided to put the old back in and figure this out later. And when I did that, the computer doesn't start. At all. No message on screen, no beep nothing. All the fans spinn though. I tried to remove the card and use the built in graphics. Same thing, no screen, no beep, but fans are spinning. The motherboard I have is Gigabyte H61N-USB3-B3, the manual says it should beep during startup to indicate problems. But I'm not hearing any. Anyone have a suggestion as to what I managed to do and can I fix it? Or should I take this as a sign and replace everything? That was the plan for the future anyway.
  9. Some graphics card draw power directly from the computers psu using using a plug. Some seems to draw power from the motherboard. Would the latter require a specialized motherboard or are they compatible with every motherboard?
