Thanks for the speedy replies. I am tending towards an intel solution. So explain to me then what is even the point in considering AMD for gaming anymore? Also will zen be able to compete with intel?

Good day guys, I've had a gaming pc with an A8 6600K and R9 270 for quite some time now. It has treated me well but it is definitely time for an upgrade. I am wondering if combining an A10 7890K with a GTX 1070 will result in bottle necking due to the CPU and if so by how much? Is it a good idea to stick with an AMD solution or should I join team intel? If i must switch to intel then do recommend the minimum cpu that will not bottle neck the card. I know there is a bottleneck calculator online but i don't know how accurate it is, also i trust the experience of fellow members of this forum over others. Thanks in advance.
