I ha I have like 4 other coolers laying around the house, will try them ?

average temperature is 34 celcius and hasn't changed for a while... about the upgrade...I got that pentium for free and it's 28% faster according to userbenchmark. I'm thinking about a core 2 quad q9400 or something I applied thermal paste because it didn't have any and I rechecked it's spread well

I upgraded my old computer's intel core 2 duo e4600 to pentium e5400 and the fan is being very loud. It's as loud as it used to be in the first 2 seconds when you'd turn on the computer. It's at max speed. Anyone know what to do?

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone for the recommendations!! I think I really should consider getting a new pc! This one is actually old and I can't even upgrade to a better cpu because of the socket....(LGA 775) I might get a new pc soon! Thank you all for helping =)

Greetings everyone! I have an old pc with a 250w psu! I wanted to get a decent gaming gpu for that psu... Here are the other parts on the computer: CPU: Intel Core duo e4600 2.40ghz Ram: 2gb ram ddr2 HDD: 80gb Any recommendation would be much appreciated =D !!!!

Hi everyone! I want to buy a used desktop around 300$ and use it for gaming! ..But I'm afarid of getting errors because on my old PC I get a lot of error even when my PC has the scpecs for the game! What should I do!! I can fix DLL errors but there are some crazy ones that I can't fix after doing a lot of research!! Do you have any help!!!! PLEASE HELP!

Can buying a new graphics card make computer run faster! please help

That's a pretty decent entry level PC , But if you can you should upgrade to a quad core & other stuffs along with that if possible , if you buy an ssd you should install the Windows OS on that use it as a boot loader & keep the mechanical for side storage although it's okay to have just the SSD installed with the residual space being used for your daily stuff & keeping the mechanical one aside if you're no using it , mechanical drives tend to have wear & tear issue overtime if plugged in & not used for a long time .
