  1. My monitor has no DP input. You can find my monitor here. Could I cheese it and have some sort of DP to HDMI adapter or cable? Also, don't judge me for buying a Walmart monitor! ?
  2. Whoa, thanks for the info! But getting something like the 750 ti is something I am ready to get, I want it or something else within my budget and obviously have better performance than what I have. So would you say getting a 750 ti is acceptable without losing its full potential? If it still loses its quality, then I'm sure it will still prove much more superior than what I have like you said.
  3. I don't fully understand what that would mean with the slots I have, but I do intend to spend money on a GPU within my budget. Please please explain what would happen if I were to install a new graphics card in that slot. Is it enough? I currently have a disgusting Intel graphics card, and I play a few particular games once in awhile that requires something much better than what I have now. I am new to this and want to muster up enough information to see what I can do.
  4. Okay, so I think I should wait until the 1050 arrives. I assuming prices will be lowered and get either the ones I am interested in or the newer ones for nearly the same price. I may need a new PSU, but I will see if my computer runs fine then get a new one if need be with the new GPU. Thanks for the help so far everyone! I wouldn't have looked into a few things and known some stuff if it weren't for you all.
  5. I think I know what I will do and get, I also may get something when the 1060 arrives so the other options will be much cheaper. Anyone know when the 1060 will make an appearance?
  6. I have 284w PSU the minimum for the 750 ti seems to be 300w. If I get a new GPU in the future, would it be wise to try and see if it would work and get a new PSU if it doesn't?
  7. I am very keen on getting a 750 to very soon, but maybe I should wait. If the arrival of 1050 ti brings down the prices by the end of this year, then I will definitely wait.
  8. I think these will help significantly. The two graphic cards I'm interested in I assume are okay. If the PSU is not okay then I guess I can just get a new one, but that wouldn't be too preferable.
  9. My power supply is my main concern, but if I do need a new power supply then maybe it will be a ton cheaper.
  10. I need to look into something else, then I can see if I can use one of these instead. Looks awesome!
  11. I'm new to this and am skeptical... If I say something that doesn't seem right it just means I'm a newbie. I do constantly get reassurance from different sources which is nice, and I may get this GPU instead in fact because it looks pretty darn promising.
  12. Hmm... Maybe I could do that, but I'm not entirely sure if that would be okay with my computer. I seen someone add the 750 ti to their machine in a video and their computer was the same as mine. Please link me to the website and I will take a look, I am open to suggestions on better cards for the same price. ;D
  13. Is there something else I need? Power supply I would need to open up my machine, I think it is about 230w though. Recommended is 300, but again that is simply recommended. This is the part I am most skeptical about, but I could just purchase another power supply unit in case I need to. Right? Thanks for the help so far guys!
  14. Thanks for such quick replies! I will post some screenshots in a moment.
