  1. But the thing is, I have a cheaper laptop and that one doesn't max out the cpu speed while idle?
  2. Hello, So I have this new Asus Vivobook S laptop with an 8250U 8GB RAM and MX150. When I set the battery performance (while charging) to "Best performance" my cpu speed changes to 3.35 GHz ish, while my cpu usage is around 5% all of this while idle. When I set it to "better performance" it changes the speed to 1.25GHz ish and the same when I set it to "Longer battery life". When I don't charge the battery and set to "Longer battery life" the speed changes to around 1GHz and on "Best performance" it sits around 1.25GHz I used cpu-z and it changes constantly from like 800MHz to 3000MHz, it changes quick and suddenly Is this normal? I bought my laptop a month ago and while I was using GIMP and it started to really slow down I looked at the task manager it showed me this. My pc sits around 0.9GHz while idle so is there a virus or something? ( I already tried scanning with norton and bitdefender with no outcome)
  3. What do you mean exactly by already have one? A case? If so, there is no way it fits. I tried it multiple times. Rubber washers just don't fit and I can't figure out how to slide the hdd in without the washer falling down. Also tried rubber strip or foam strip, the hdd just doesn't slide in anymore. (my case atm has no hdd mount that slides in and out. The whole hdd itself slides in and out the bay) Bought an anti vibrating hdd cage thing for a 5.25 inch bay but I returned it because I wanted to buy a case with side window soon and many of them don't have 5.25 inch bays anymore
  4. Hello, I'm looking for a pc case that has a silent hdd bay with a side window below $90/€80. I saw that cases from Be quiet (pure base 600) have those rubber/silicon things on their bays. What other cases has those? I can't seem to find other cases that has those. Yes I know, hdd of course make noise/vibrates but I don't know if it's my case that I use atm ( sharkoon vs4) that make it sound harder because it's a cheap one. Because I can clearly hear the hdd. (I'm not going to buy a 1TB ssd.) Or are those rubber/silicon things unnecessary? Because many other cases that I see have a plastic hdd bay. Does that something to the noise/vibrations? Because in my case the hdd is just mounted to the metal itself. Thanks.
  5. Hello! So I bought this case almost a year ago, bumped to my headphone jack and now it doesn't work anymore. Is there any way I can replace this? Maybe the whole circuitboard? or only the headphone jack itself (With soldering) Thanks in advance!
