  1. Has anyone else had a problem getting aura to open and stay open? It's in task manager but once it opens for a qtr of a second it closes. Could it be because of CAM or CUE?
  2. I've done all of that. I think maybe when i tried to install a bios update maybe it got screwed up somehow? I'm not even sure....oh well
  3. Everything was fine for a week. My 7700k was getting somewhat high temps and thought maybe i should re-seat my cooler or re apply thermal paste. After doing it my system wouldn't boot. Solid orange light on my motherboard(Asus Z270-e) but all case fans, led strips and graphics card leds/fan turn on. Tried everything possible and couldn't get a boot. I switched everything out to my older Z97 board and i5-4460 and that is what i'm using now. The manual says its a stand by light idk if that helps at all
  4. Hmm maybe i'll look around some more and try to find another update but as far as I know I am updated but I could be wrong
  5. Not 100% sure but I think the 4th pin is there so you are able to change the speeds of the fans from bios or other programs. If they are 3 or connected to molex then they just run at a constant speed but don't quote me on it
  6. No but i've been reading around and alot of people are having the same problem. Some hitting 60c at idle with air coolers. http://www.kitguru.net/components/cpu/matthew-wilson/core-i7-7700k-tim-replacement-improves-5ghz-oc-temps-by-30-degrees/ I can see intel doing a recall for some of their chips because this is fucking ridiculous really. At one point I was hitting 80+ on cinebench after running multiple times
  7. Sorry actually just looked at my case and they both connect with a splitter attached to a molex cable
  8. Pretty sure they both need to use a controller of some kind. My just hook right into a fan header since they are just a single color
  9. I have the riing fans but they are in white so i dont use the software so i cant tell you how good it is. But i have a hue+ from nzxt and the soft is okay. But the strips are kind of janky at times but their customer service is awesome and sent out new ones

  11. Looks like the temperatures are more stable and not jumping around as much. The highest i was able to get was 4.8. When i went to 4.9 it was stable for the first test. The second and third started to stutter and the fourth i got a crash.
  12. 1.35v That's what it moved to after switching to xmp then to manual voltage. Is that too high? I haven't touched it
