  1. Weird thing is i am running CoD warzones and coldwar MP 144hz its fine i run valhala or break point the greens there.....idk something weird is definitely happening.
  2. True the only thing I know for sure is the refresh rate is the cause. Because lowering it takes care of it. well may not be the cause but is an x factor because it's centered around it. Atleast from my understanding of the situation.
  3. It's something that just started a few days ago. Everything was fine till then. Any time a game runs at 144 it does it but 60 it's fine. Iv already ordered a new monitor hopefully it fixes the issue if not then the only other option is graphics card Wich replacement of a 3070 would be a very difficult issue atm. Here is another look at the issue.
  4. Evga 3070 cpu 10900k 32 gig of ram built it back in March. I changed the refresh rate to 60 from 144 in desktop settings and that solved the issue. It also went away when I uninstalled graphics card drives but returned when re installed and it went back to 144. Like the darker the seen aka like darker the shadow darker the green. But in white pages or lighter colors it was fine. In settings I I changed it to 60hz but games still run in 144 fine.
  5. HI iv been having a really weird issue. On the bottom.left of my screen mag342cqr is my monitor. Is a green colored tint. It shows on only dark backgrounds grey's etc. When in light it white background it goes away. The issue went away when I switched from DP to HDMI in already got a new DP cable and it is still there. I changed the refresh rate in windows from 144 to 100 it lesson the degree of the tint when i changed it back to 144 it returned. Please any and all help to fix this issue is much appreciated.
  6. 1st site about it second third site fourth amazon questions area that brought it to my attention Those are links to all that I have found and below is the actual complain from newegg about the issue the compplaints on the ASUS TUF Z270 MARK 1Cons: This was the second motherboard that did not include a factory seal.. After speaking with a supervisor from Newegg customer support, I was informed that none of the Asus motherboards received by their warehouse distribution centers have factory seals.. At any rate, I went ahead and contacted Asus customer support and spoke with a level 2 support supervisor regarding my concerns over the factory seals.. Needless to say, the Asus rep did confirm that all Asus motherboards leave their factory with a manufacturers factory seal.. In addition, I also contacted and spoke with a supervisor from one of Newegg's leading competitors who also confirmed that all Asus motherboards shipped to their warehouse distribution centers from Asus also include manufacturer factory seals as well.. That being said, I will not take the risk in purchasing a product that is unsealed and could possibly be an open box return by a previous customer resold as new !
  7. Ok I have been looking at reviews on both newegg and amazon people are complaining about asus boards coming in an un seald box and some with the motherboard in the box no ESD bag around it even. I did some searching and found alot of people online saying that motherboards don't come sealed some don't come in ESD bags etc. This being the first time ordering a motherboard im curious if what I found is right and that is a normal shipping method or is so many people getting open items thinking its new? It is unsettling to think something like the motherboard could be tampered with and not even know it due to boxes not being sealed.
  8. I have been looking at two motherboards the ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E and the GIGABYTE GA-Z270X-Ultra Gaming. I found the Gigabyte more appealing due to slightly cheaper price. But when I ask my cousin his response honestly did not seem to add up according to him "they are garbage since Asus bought 49% and screwed it over to go asrock if I want a cheaper board." so thought I would ask here to see the over all opinion of the two.
  9. Can anyone give me an idea of what the big main differences are on these 3 boards and maybe what the best one is overall as far as general opinion. So far any looking iv done i keep seeing the same thing on most of them over all. ASUS STRIX Z270E ASUS STRIX Z270F ASUS STRIX Z270H Thanks to any and all who read over this and can help.
  10. Was looking at the SABERTOOTH Z170 MARK 1 and using the Cryorig R1 UNIVERSAL cooler but was not sure if the armor would cause any blocking issues. I already have the cooler. Figured I would ask before I bought the board. Also was looking at the ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 2 but kind of wanted the MARK 1 if it would fit.
  11. Was looking at the MSI Z170A Krait Gaming 3X motherboard. But when I looked at the QVL for memory I could not find the memory I have on the list. I have https://www.amazon.com/Ballistix-16GBx2-PC4-19200-288-Pin-BLS2K16G4D240FSC/dp/B01AG9EZ6E the only one they have on the list close to it is https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-Ballistix-Sport-DDR4-2400-BLS2K8G4D240FSA/dp/B00MTSWFMM. Would the ballistix kit I have now work or should I look to a different motherboard. the original MOBO I had in mind was the SABERTOOTH Z170 S but figured cost wise the MSI bored would be a safe bet at a bit lower cost.
  12. Ah cool thanks was worried about it touching the back of the bored when powered on and maybe causing an electrical issue frying my mobo and parts. The bored im intending to use is the Asus SABERTOOTH-Z170-S.
  13. Just got my corsair 780T case. Inside just below the cpu cooler cut out area there is a standoff with a screw coming up out of it? Is it a defect in the case or there to be of some use? This is my first time building but cant seem to find anything out about that one stand off with a screw coming up out of it. Thank you any and all who can offer any information and help.
