    Thanks everyone for input. True, laptop is 300ish thing and not a big deal. "Keep me logged in" wasn't on anywhere, I use password manager that turns off in 2min. So i don't think any account was exposed + 2fa everywhere. No sensitive files on drive too. Question came up when GF asked if she can safely use it for simple things; browsing and socials. I was more curious about possibilities.

    Hi, I might seem paranoid, but my laptop (Asus D509D / ryzen 5 3500u) was stolen and returned pretty soon as "hey I found it on a bench and checked your history and found email address" etc. I trade crypto, and now my concern is security. Is simple full format / fresh Win10 install be enough? + some Kaspersky full check etc? Can my laptop be hardware rigged? Idk, like some wifi traffic interceptor or keylogger hooked to keyboard? Or should I just ditch that thing or sell on ebay and get new one? Any tips and experiences are welcome!

    Hi, first of all, I'm totally new to RGB in cases I build a new pc in Thermaltake Versa J24 RGB edition. Case is budget one, but I like it, it has 3 front RGB fans, all connected to sync plate http://ru.thermaltake.com/db/products/case/VersaJ24/pic4rgb.jpg and plate is powered by sata. I have Captain 120ex and front fans are connected to Captain's splitter > rgb connector on mobo (B450 AORUS). I'm trying to figure out if there is any possibility (or am I missing something?) to control speed of fans too? Do I need some adapter for it / swap that rgb control plate? sorry for being so noobish, I changed my PC case now for the first time in 8-7 years.

    This is it, I'm about to order CPU/board/Ram... but.......crap, no I still can't decide 2600X vs i5 8600K. I even flipped freaking coin!! Coin said 2600X, but which mainboard then? Will something like ASUS TUF B450M-Plus be ok for 2600X ? I plan to put it all into cube case. Need a bit more pro/cons on these CPUs please!

    Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my gaming-semi content creation system (i'm doing some modeling, rendering). And I'm a bit lost between all options out there.. i5 4690k was running absolutely nice in 3d programs and games with GTX 760 > 960 > 1060. I feel some bottleneck now in BF1 though. I'm looking at Ryzen 7 1800X - or - Ryzen 5 2600X - or - i5 8600K / i5 7600K and can't decide which one to pick. Can you guys help me decide? Goal is to upgrade and stick to it for some time same as I did with 4690K.

    LOL, and I feel it will be right to assume that specialists there are similar to those "Windows Specialists" in Media Markts in Europe, just students doing summer job being average PC users.

    Well, I'm pretty sure that was Microsoft live chat support, first I contacted them wrong - MS Surface support, and they gave me link to Windows support, and everything was in MS fancy Win10 style window etc. But sure, can be it was third party "support center" firm. edit: MS does have some crazy Windows premium support, my colleague tried to use it some time ago, I also never heard about MS's "premium support" before.

    Thank you very much for your attention. You actually did helped me to find this solution As I'm not english native speaker, I was searching for everything but not "spin down" lol I'm even gone thru horrible (brr.. still bugs me out) experience with Microsoft. Their guy there... told me that "this is out of warranty problem that can be solved with premium support, paid". This was driving me crazy! Thnx!

    I have progress here! Found Reddit post, where someone had exactly same issue, and someone recommended to delete Intel RST driver and let Windows use default driver - https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/4ll0oz/secondary_hard_disk_wont_spin_down/?st=ity5hmgj&sh=48290bdb. It worked!

    Work stuff, lots of images and models files. One more thing is local disks D/E (both partitions of secondary hdd) a listed under "portable deviced" in device manager.

    Sadly, no luck.. hdd still won't stop. I have now installed eng.language pack to be sure I'm doing exactly what suggested Thanks:) my bad)
