Thanks. I understand that Freesync is a must for this kinds of monitors. Is interesting that some of you prefer a fast response time while others prefer the ultrawide look. So this could be another thread. I don't have experience in any of those kinds of monitors. Regarding the smoothness improvement, RyGuy99 is saying that those additional 15HZ will matter. Would a casual gamer like me will notice this as well?

I come from a conventional 60hz monitor and I want to buy an ultrawide that gives a good gaming experience. My question is, is it worth an ultrawide with 75hz? Would I notice a smoother movement? Worth investing more in one of 100hz? I've been told that high refresh rate really worth it. The cost of an Acer X34 or Asus PG348Q exceeds my budget. So I've been looking at other options, such as LG 34UC98 (FreeSync and 75Hz). I will also like to know if there is more options in the market now or in the near future. My preference is an IPS like, 34" and QHD. Thanks!
