  6. Hi I'm trying to debate wether to get the RX 480 and get a 144hz free sync monitor or go with the GTX 1060 and get just a normal 144hz monitor, i know that the 1060 outperforms the 480 but do you guys think its worth just a bit less performance for the free sync? here is my current build PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor ($110.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: MSI B150 PC Mate ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($79.50 @ Amazon) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($44.98 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($69.00 @ B&H) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING Video Card ($249.99 @ Amazon) Case: NZXT S340 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case ($66.99 @ SuperBiiz) Power Supply: SeaSonic 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($49.99) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit ($84.88 @ OutletPC) Monitor: Nixeus NX-VUE24A 24.0" 144Hz Monitor ($264.99 @ Amazon) Total: $1021.31 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-10-13 09:13 EDT-0400

  11. would you recommend a ATX motherboard for that build? i would prefer to get a ATX rather than a Micro ATX so i have more flexibility for upgrades in the future
  12. forgot to mention that the $650 included the monitor and keyboard too but that shouldn't be to much of a problem
  13. is that CPU even overclock able, once again I'm still kinda new to all this so bare with me. and as a FYI I'm pretty sure the G3258 can be easily overclocked to 4.5GHz
  14. what do u mean exactly by "sorely wanting for more" more powerful cpu? or just the fact that the cpu doesn't last long?
