    Case decision

Yea was thinking the same, although the goodies that the p400s seems so good , but I ll go with the Pro M, possible get a led strip later on, there is an acrilic but goes for 20+ euros because of transportation cost
  2. Hello fellow pc enthusiasts, now that I picked up all my parts for my new build, decided to go with a new case as well. I am between Phanteks Enthoo Pro M (Acrylic Window), Phanteks P300 TG, Phanteks P400s TG. P300 = 75 Euros P400s = 99 Euros Enthoo = 101 Euros The things that I care with high to low preference are: Airflow. Cable Management. Looks. Size. I would go for the p300 or p400s but people say that there are 10 degrees Celsius difference with the front panel off and that concerns me. The system will consist of Ryzen 5 1600 paired with an MSI b350 PC Mate as well as 16GB of DDR4 3.2Ghz and a gtx 1060 6Gb from Gigabyte. Note from my old case I 'll probably salvage 2-3 fans that I have.
  3. I do love em but yea since you guys here told me as well about it not going to bother or sweat, now I am just waiting for the ram and hopefully build my pc.
  4. Thank you for the fast reply, Alright thank you again!
  5. Hello fellow pc enthusiasts, I just placed an order for gskill 16gigs aegis @ 3Ghz for a ryzen 5 1600 build, which will be used for streaming/gaming and programming. From what I have seen that was my cheapest and fastest choice. One thing that I noticed is that they have no heatsink just a sticker to make it look fancy. My question is this, does it matter that it does not have a heatsink? I will probably overclock my CPU (stock voltage) but certainly not the ram sticks. Will I see any difference is it worth to get an after-market or it's just cool? Note I have unrestricted airflow by 3 120MM fans at the front of my case and 1 at the back. From what I have seen it does not really matter due to low voltage they are working on but still a bit of input on your experience would be nice. Thank you in advance -Jason.
  6. I feel like the parts that you have are pretty cool, on my current pc setup (i5 3350p, 8 gigs of shitty ram, and an r7 260x - gtx 1060 6gb), my pc would almost instantly load any programs I would throw at it , even 2000 line program (don't ask , uni assignment).Visual Studio, android studio, Java, C, a Virtual machine running Linux were running pretty sweet. The only thing I would recommend as the fellow comrades suggested is 16gigs of ram and a higher resolution monitor. If you can get your hands on 2 monitors that would untie your hands as we like to say in Greece.
  7. Sadly I live in Greece , so microcenter is not an option for me although I am trying to find a loop in order to move parts from there to eu but I dont think that will happen , I was thinking either the gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 which you are really close on chaning my mind , then msi mortar which I ve heard good stuff for it and lastly asrock which I already have and know its pretty good although that can change from mobo to mobo
  8. Thank you so much for all your input, since ryzen 2 is coming soon I will wait for that , I will also check the streamlabs obs hopefully will make my life easier ^^
  9. Alright thank you so much for the input, i am going to pick up 2 sticks of 4 gigs, sadly i am in greece i ll see if i can manage to get something cheap or make a deal , so what kind of mobo are you suggesting?
  10. Hello, fellow hardware comrades, I am planning on upgrading my machine, currently, I have an i5 3350p with 8 gigs of ram, to a ryzen due to my stream hobby. I want to save as much money as possible due to difficult times. I want your opinion on how this looks and if you can suggest money to save or have better value. Ryzen 5 1600 Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3, (was also looking at MSI B350M Mortar) Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 4GB 2666Mhz. x2 From what I've seen in games ram speeds are not a big factor for fps but I guess I have the overclocking route. I also have a gtx 1060 6Gb which is going to be paired with the system mentioned above. In total the cpu+mobo+ram is going for 350ish. What are your guys thought on those parts, anything should be done differently / better? P.S. I am playing and streaming, dota 2 , csgo, pubg.
  11. Greece Alright cause Newegg has a pretty sweet deal on the 1700
  12. First of all, thank you so much for the reply and your pc looks dope, for streaming will the i5 work well though? my main concern is streaming , editing
  13. Hello members of the LTT. I am looking to upgrade my pc and since Black Friday is coming I thought no better time than now, right? I use my pc, mainly for gaming, programming, editing, and streaming, with my current setup (i5 3350p, gtx 1060 6gb) I can streaming perfectly fine my games with Nvidia shadowblade of course, but I want to stream with obs to have the alerts and the customizability that it provides. I am looking to upgrade my CPU, mobo and ram, nothing else, The other components that I have are, (non-upgradable) gtx 1060 6Gb Thermaltake Smart Series 530W HDD and SSD, I was thinking in the future for a dual pc stream setup but for now, it is not possible. The games that I play and want to stream are, CSGO, DOTA 2, PUBG, Warhammer and if something interesting comes up in the future. My budget is around 350-400 euros and was thinking about ryzen 7 1700 or ryzen 6 1600X or maybe ryzen 7 1800X, What are your guys' thoughts on the matter Thank you in advance for all the input.
