  1. 2146623 Points so far! and it is heating my house! Folding is a great Idea!
  2. Has anybuddy heard of a NAS Enclosure that could run Linux or other OS's? Im wanting to build my own NAS but i don't want to use a full blown PC for this. I would like to have something compact with 2 or more bays and a RAID controller.
  3. Try a different GPU. If you don't have one and your warranty is up try cleaning and reapplying thermal paste. maybe your GPU isn't beeing cooled good enough anymore.
  4. I recommend going to this site on any PC http://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-to-set-up-a-bitdefender-rescue-cd-1249.html create a bootable USB and use it to boot that PC and do a scan. This has helped me a few times because it's Linux-based. If that does not help you can also use it to backup your data and reinstall windows. Make sure to scan the backed up data before using it with your reinstalled windows!
  5. Try to download Display Driver Uninstaller DDU and reinstall a known version of the Nvidia drivers that worked with your card.
  6. Are you still having the same issues?
  7. I would definitely try to install some older drivers. Did you OC your GPU? Because your GPU Clock is running at 1951Mhz and memory only at 3004Mhz If you overclocked your GPU undo it and see if it runs better.
  8. That's looking good, but what about your GPU?
  9. Is your system maybe thermal throttling? have you checked your temps while gaming?
  10. Did he plug in his SSD to access the data on it after he installed windows on the 2nd HDD? If yes, it is very possible that he has a Virus on his SSD. Try to use an Anti Virus Boot Disk and run a scan!
  11. Yes they are WS2812 chips and yes you can get them much cheaper on other websites. Sadly they do not store information, only there own name and ID as you can use multiple ones at the same time. But as long your USB stays power after shutdown the LEDs will stay on but without any effect, they just simply stay in there current state till the app is running again.
  12. I got custom Smart Pixels in my PC and I used Blinkstick. https://www.blinkstick.com/products/blinkstick-pro-smart-pixels These are very simple to use and you get everything you need of the same website. I used a Blinkstick Pro with 40 smart pixels in my Tower. (i will post pictures later) It's completely open source but it also has a fully functional software which you can get here https://forums.blinkstick.com/t/blinkstick-client-2-0-rc-release/342 I got mine setup so the LED's over my CPU are green when the CPU load is at 0% and turn red when at 100% (orange at 50%) Edit LOL yea i know my PC is messy inside
  13. onboard sound or dedicated sound card? what os are you using?
  14. did you set "CPU Ratio" to "all core"? and whats your host clock at?
