I want the best value basically least expensive with most "future proof" tech pc. I will be using it for trading mostly and once in a while gaming at 4k on a 50 inch tv
I know AMD is outdated and Zen is around the corner for price Its hard to pass up for 100 bucks with motherboard and an "8 core"
I built this from micro center already
8320E with M5A78L-M/USB3 Socket AM3+ mATX 94 USD
(I screwed up for being cheap)
May replace motherboard for
Gigabyte GA-970-GAMING SLI AM3+ M.2 ATX AMD Motherboard
or
970 Gaming AM3+ ATX
doesnt seem like either support the 2400 RAM i bought???
help me decide which motherboard supports latest stuff
Crucial MX300 275 gb 69USD
evga b1 700 Watt PSU 53 usd
Corsair Vengeance Series 16GB DDR3-2400 PC3-19200 CL11 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit Two 8GB Memory Module 69 USD
XFX RX 480 8GB 259 USD
(wanted the red devil but dont like what it insinuates)
TP-LINK TL-WN881ND 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter 19usd
I have to move computer where its not directly connected to internet hence need WIFI adapter
Thermaltake Commander MS-I Snow ATX Mid-Tower Computer Case 45usd
I like the outside but its cheap build i literally had to break the back little bars in back to get video card to fit in thought that was quite ghetto.
Issue is i thought i had free windows 10 because im going back to college but i cant get it until next year..... i ended up putting "windows embedded 8.1 industry pro" on for free with windows key microsoft imagine provided for me. Does it bottleneck my hardware????
Now heres the dilemma I found this all in one build power spec g313 from micro center............Should i return everything with no restocking fees and buy this all in one i5 6600k, 1060, 480 ssd build??????
Is it really worth the over 50 percent increase in price from my current build???
PowerSpec G313 Desktop Computer;
Intel Core i5-6600K Processor 3.5GHz
Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
16GB DDR4-3000 RAM
480GB Solid State Drive
999 usd
Sceptre U505CV-U 49" 4K Ultra HD 2160p 60Hz LED HDTV (4K x 2K)
329 USD
using this as a monitor and may consider 2 more if i find display models later on...
So should i keep the current build and use the money for this tv for use as a monitor is it really worth spending about 400 more for that all in one build????
I will be gaming on 4k at medium settings once in a while (I dont mind 30 fps) and plan on running crossfire when i can get another rx480 8 gb when its selling for 100 dollars.
If you guys have any other builds or any ideas for the most value with most "future proof" tech I would highly appreciate it
Thanks
