  1. I just put them into my computer, they do not work. Has this happened to anyone? There support website is pretty bad and I can't find a suggestion to what is going on. Everything is in the right way and they didnt tell me to install any drivers so I am totally baffled to why they are not working. (I have 3 years insurance on them so I can take them back) OS: Windows 7 64 bit (My motherboard was from a alienware x51 before I took the motherboard out and put it in a new case)
  2. I have a 780ti and it is AMAZING! So if I was you I would get the 2x 780's because like everyone is saying they definitely better than one singular Titan Black. Especially for higher resolution gaming too. -Sloop
  3. Im looking into the Asus P8Z77-V Pro now, its what I want but I can not find a site in the UK that has it in stock only American based companies. If someone could be so nice and find me a English popular website that has them in stock I would be extremely greatful!
  4. Hello there! In 2012 I bought a Alienware X51 (I know, I know) I never thought I would ever need to upgrade being the naive newcomer I just didn't think about the future. Anyways two years later in December for Christmas I bought a Fractal Design Design R4 780ti SC Finally a 750w psu I upgraded my PC quite easily, and then came the problems! Problem 1: If there was to be an instance where the power would cut from the PC (eg. To pull out the plug etc.) My PC would turn off obviously. However when I would turn on my PC it would come up with the "Windows Recovery Menu". Most people have encountered this Menu so hopefully you will know what I am talking about. When this menu would appear it would instantaneously freeze. I could do nothing about the PC whatsoever. It turns out that Alienware's motherboards don't have a "powerboard" built into them, they are attached externally. Without having the power board connected causes this problem to happen... That is when I had to take it to the repair shop, again and again and again. 4 months without this happening I would rather not have to dish out money to repair my PC every time this happens so I would like to buy a new Motherboard. I need a recommendation for a motherboard where it will be future proof, so like 4 pci ports etc. I don't want to buy anything else for a long time because I have exhausted my wallet on my build, so my budget MAXIMUM will be £200.00 or $330 dollars. (I know the Mobo will not be that high in price but that is my absolute limit. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps me! My build is.... 5. Well ill change it but you didn't have to call me out on a question. Just PM me or something if you're that bothered by it.
  6. This is just a possibility but did you delete your drivers? -Sloop
  7. I had the same problem, I needed to update my drivers. I really suggest updating the drivers and come back and tell me what happens? -Sloop
  8. Hello, In early 2012 I bought a "Alienware X51" (The GTX 555 one). In December of 2013 I did a total upgrade. I bought a Fractal Design R4 case, a Nvidia GTX 780ti and finally a 750w PSU. I took the Micro ATX motherboard out of the Alienware X51 which included the i7 3770 processer and the 8gb of ram and put it in the new case. Since Christmas I have had a multitude of problems with it. Firstly if the power goes off to the PC and you reboot it the PC will then boot into the Windows 7 recovery menu which says "Press enter to run normally" and so on. When this bootmenu comes up I literally can't do anything. the boot menu just freezes and I can't do anything about it. When this happens I have to take my PC to the computer shop and pay the 40 pound bill at the end of it. Secondly, every time I start my PC up it says "POWER SENSOR FAILURE! Press F1 to continue or press F2 for setup utility." Again I cannot use my Keyboard to navigate this, I have to take my keyboard out and put a specific DELL keyboard in which is werid how that works but it does. My question is why it is doing this and also many Alienware users who have done this have had the same problem when moving the motherboard. I am guessing this happens with everyone with Aliewnare X51's when taking the mobo out?
  9. Thanks for the reply mate, I am thinking of getting the GE60 one. ))
  10. Hello, are there any recommended gaming laptops for a budget of £400-£800. I would prefer a 17.3 inch screen, I would like to get 60fps on lets say BF4 on low settings. I live in the UK so if you are helping me find one can you please look on UK websites only. Thanks in advance it will be appreciated.
  11. Hi, RTC is reset, Bios set up default has been loaded. Alert! Power sensor failure. Strike the F1 key to continue F2 to set up the utility. Neither of these work? The screen just freezes? Can anybody help me please? Thanks Jamie
  12. I accidentally unplugged my pc from the wall socket, when starting it back up it goes on the windows recovery menu screen whilst booting. It is a black background with white text. You can use the arrow keys to navigate the menu but I can not navigate the menu to boot my pc. The screen freezes and it is impossible to get into my pc. I took it to the shop a couple of weeks ago to get fixed and the man said he fixed it but he clearly isnt. I think it is something to do with the cmos because my mobo doesnt have a cmos battery because it is out of an alienware.
