I dunno. What do you recommend upgrade path wise? Just get an i5 then later get a 1060 instead of 960 4GB? Cause comparing an i5 6500 to a i7 6700 gaming wise isn't too crazy. I was mainly thinking $375 as a MOST, since I'm paying my buddy $70 for MOBO and GPU and my parents are only paying for around $300-$325 of it, cause I want to get an expensive mouse and keyboard.

He says its not z170, he says he believes it H110M or something. It takes DDR4 Ram.

Would it really be worth the $30 to get the 6600k? I've watched video benchmarking the 6500 vs 6600k on games and at most the 6600k would get around 5 fps more. Plus I don't believe the 6600k comes w/ a cooler, so that's another $20-$30.

I'm not positive about the EXACT mobo, but I do know it is skylake and I believe is a cheaper ASUS MOBO.

Hey guys, my birthday is coming up in a few months and I want to get off my laptop and get to a real gaming rig. I am very excited and I want to be able to play games such as Rust, H1Z1, and most importantly play and stream CS:GO. I am buying my friend's year old Zotac 960 4GB and Skylake (LGA 1151) MOBO. I already have a case, and 1 TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive w/ windows. I am in need of a CPU, some ram, and a power supply. What would you guys recommend?
