I am planing to build my first pc. I want to record/edit/game on this system. My complete setup budget is $1000, I need a desk and a monitor, keyboard and mouse, headset and microphone, and the actual pc. I am probably going to be getting myself an Ikea linmon desk which is only $50. I really need help in this as I am not familiar with building a pc and setup. The pc should not be more than $700 and I don't care for solid state drives. My previous pc died(I don't have it anymore) and my current setup is an old desk and $13 headset and some old keyboard and mouse. PLEASE HELP.

You can easily save $50-$60 by going with the GTX 1060 3Gb version. There is not much difference between the two, and future-proofing is BS.

From my knowledge 2.7 GHz is not fast, and a 25 ms response time on a monitor is useless for gaming. I do like this build tho. Thx for the insight

I don't need 1 TB of storage, Most of my stuff is stored in a cloud and have a separate 4 TB Internet connected storage capsule. I play online multiplayer games like rust and want to play games like arc. When I do buy a single player game, I delete it from computer when I finish playing. This computer is going to be solely for gaming and video rendering/recording. I have a separate laptop for school work and such. I do like to turn of my computer when not in use. I do have a gaming mouse and a high quality headset, I will be getting a Red Dragon Karura.
