My friend wants me to take some photos off her harddrive and move them to a USB stick. I plan to remove hard drive from laptop, plug into my PC via sata, then take files and move to USB stick. The hard drive will also has the OS on it, will this prevent me from accessing the photos stored on there?

I want to give my PCs internet connection to my mobile. I do not have a WiFi card but I have got my phone plugged in with USB, How can I go about this?

Might want to wait to see how the 3000 series turn out. Looking like you should definitely wait until they release. I would look at getting 2x16GB sticks instead of 4x8GB sticks. EDIT: Like Jaslion said, you only really need 16GB tho You're also going to need a lot more storage than that. Get at least a 1TB HDD to go with it

So i'm playing around trying to make a random website as practise. I've got 3 cards all with images inside but I can only work out how to change the position of the first image. How do i change the others? So I have a 128GB SSD which is full. It has my OS, and a good few programs on it. Unsurprisingly, it's virtually full. I really don't want to go through the hassle of redownloading everything on a new bigger SSD. From what I understand you can clone your drive and then just set your new drive as your boot drive. The WiFi signal in the 2 main bedrooms in my home is unbearably poor. It just randomly cuts out. And in the living room (which is close to the router) the internet signal only seems to drop temporarily whenever I use my wired PC... I am looking for recommendations for something we can install in the house to get a strong WiFi signal in every room. Thanks in advance

Just watched a Youtube video that says: Open NVIDIA control panel Go to manage 3D settings Go to program settings Select Google Chrome (or whatever browser you're using) Scroll down to Vertical Sync and turn it on I haven't got this issue so IDK if it works but worth a go

My Chromecast keeps disappearing from all my devices. Then I have to keep factory resetting the Chromecast and it might work for a bit. Had this exact issue with my older Chromecast. I to sometimes get a message saying Turn Off AP Isolation. No idea where to find that setting. Anyone know how to fix my Chromecast?

So the internet connection on all my devices in my house is absolutely fine....except for my own PC. Only getting about 2mbps max instead of my usual 60mbps. Nothing unusual in my task manager, tried rebooting. No idea what's happened. Help Forgot to mention that my upload is about 9mbps at the moment, kind of odd

So currently I have a Powerline Adapter running from the kitchen (where the router is) to my bedroom (where my PC is) so I have a full Ethernet connection to my PC. And this all works great. It has come to my attention that you can get Powerline Adapters that also transmit a WiFi signal, This would be great for me since I could then have a WifI signal for my phone and Ethernet for my PC. Can anyone recommend one that has WiFi and Passthrough capabilities? (Passthrough is absolutely necessary) (I live in the UK so it needs to be available here)
