  1. hehehe their website is down. even here in Korea seems y’all need to stop jumping to conclusions and watch the video. its not the idea that’s copyright infringement it’s the fact that they literally left jerryrigeverything and dbrand’s easter egg designs in the products they stole and are selling/sold glass is glass and glass breaks is JRE’s signature phrase, these idiots literally left the design with that motto in the design they sold, clearly proving they just save as-ed off the dbrand site and repurposed their work and development for their own products. Watch the video
  2. Was just wondering if any of y’all have ever tried using the Coriant Engineered Fluids for a completely immersed build. would be pretty cool to see LTT do a video on this
  3. yeah not gonna do with Linux =[ Yes I am on Skylake, Never heard of NTLite, i'll take a look at that. Thanks!! Thanks for the links!! I've just done them now.
  4. Hey all~ I've been told that this amazing community is great for helping each other out, sooo~ This is my question to any of yall who can help me out here. Any any one tell me, what I should do upon a clean install of Win 10 - in order to keep CPU utilization down from background, keep my performance up, no bloatware, uninstall preinstalled apps like MS store, etc... Basically put my Windows 10 on a diet, and just have it almost barebones... any and all input would be great!. So far, I've only found Ultimate Windows tweaker.. but i know there's a lot more. Thanks in advance! -Alex
  5. haha i second that.. it'll probably be around 5-600 dollars korean prices for the domestic market are actually higher than when they sell exports. sooo it might be close to your budget my friend =]
  6. First of all, I don't appreciate the negative tone. I've done and said nothing to offend you, and would like if you could not come off like a sarcastic jerk... =] I've already mentioned in my post that i lost the lottery... but this card comes with a dinky 5 phases + 1 and runs on a single 8pin so again, I'd like to reiterate, its not going to provide you with the best stability if you want to push it... Lottery or not. there are other factors that can go into whether or not your card will OC well...
  7. I'm an expat from new jersey living in South Korea. But also an avid techie =] Anyways, the new Quantum Dot monitors are being released. Mostly, I think a lot of people have been drooling over the idea of having a 34in. curved ultra wide version of this monitor being released. In anycase, Coming in at a lengthy 86,4cm / 34in. at an aspect ratio of 21:9 VA panel 3440x1440 QHD 100 hz 4ms gtg Curved Contrast Ratio - 3000:1 with a view angle of 178 degrees @ 1500 R it boasts an amazing 125% sRGB with a min. of 120% Adobe RGB coverage of 92% FREESYNC 1 DP 2 HDMI for those worried about the environment, they have confirmed that they will not use Cadmium in the manuf. process for Q-Dot technology. Anyways, Initial pricing in South Korea is 995,980 KRW (Roughly) $866 But I think it's safe to assume that pricing in the US and Europe and most places outside of Korea will be much MUCH cheaper. Given that Korea has no monopoly laws... (well very poor ones) LG and Samsung are able to call whatever prices they want... leading to products costing 2-3x more than in the US or other parts of the world. I'm personally on the fence about gettin it at the moment.. but it does seem promising. below are links for sources i've found (in Korean) but otherwise unavailable anywhere else. =] Thanks for reading. =] http://itempage3.auction.co.kr/DetailView.aspx?ItemNo=B372628042&frm3=V2 http://prod.danawa.com/info/?pcode=4612354&cate=112757
  8. Unnboxed, Installed, and Overclocked my new MSI GTX1080 Seahawk X Card itself is great, mine ran at 34C idle and peaked at 48C under OC Load tried OCing with both MSI and Evga unfortunately, I lost the silicon lottery. was only able to get 2050 MHz (+75 offset in MSI) and +550 on the memory. This his card IS based off of a founders card so there isn't a whole to work with as far as power delivery and OC potential. (Standard 92 / 105% power) *wop wop* fans are not too loud, (but then again I'm running two Noctua iPPC 3000 pwms on my Swiftech 240 X2 so I've got a bit of noise, anyways.... BUT this is the first time I've ever encountered cool whine. now mine isn't TOO bad, at least not like some of the 980s out there and such, but it is an ever so slight buzz. Just wanted to make a PSA for any of y'all interested in running this card. DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU WANT TO OC. You will be disappointed. but if you're not into OCing, and want to look for a cars that just works great out of the box, go for it! have a a great one!
  9. I recently purchased a Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Ultra Gaming Motherboard for my next build. And i was lookin through the manual, as I'm still waiting for the rest of my parts to come in. and I found a part in the UEFI Bios section taking about graphic Slice and Unslice... There's not a whole lot of literature on google. all i've been able to deduce is that it has to do with the new Skylake processor and support on boards... =\ My question is.... 1. Is this really important or something i should kind of wrap my head around? OR is it something i could just not worry about 2. Does this carry any benefits in overclocking/performance? Anyways~ any and all help or feedback would be greatly appreciated
  10. Grab a set of Noctua NF's. Or better yet, Pick up the new Swiftech H220/240/320 Prestige. They come with the NB fans and are quite as hell! I'm runnin mine with iPPC Noctua in push pull. =] the only problem is price i suppose.
