  1. If you were willing to wait you could get a VU driver From ebay and some soviet panel meters Like these.
  2. Is that an asus b150 pro wifi gaming /aura I used the same board and had the exact same problem. I ended up cutting out the strain relief on the usb 3.0 cable and forced the header towards the cpu a bit. really scary.
  3. putting both my sentries in a Pelican 1550 silver case for bringing to and from campus. plus going to strip and hydro dip one in This Hydrographic film. also where did you source your vandal switches from, when i replaced yours i noticed they were diffrent from any that I've seen. Here's a photo the other one is still sealed in the box. Edit: (notice the stack of stickers behind the pink power button, go to redbubble and after 10 small stickers they discount them by 50%, then wait till they have their pretty much weekly 20% off sitewide sale, that's where I get all my stickers, they have pretty much anything {although a lot of it is stolen from other online artists}) Asus Zenfone 3 Max camera is a total piece of Blin.
  4. ZABER is there a reason you skipped today's update? my order is 118 does that mean its in the next batch (its two white models) (just curious [and a little anxious]) Thank you.
  5. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I9KDUC2/ref=twister_B01I9KDWH0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 the problem with most of these vandal switches is that the led's are 12vDC so what i recommend if you understand hand tools is one of these https://www.amazon.com/Serial-Molex-Female-4-PIN-Adapter/dp/B06Y6JQK8F/ref=sr_1_21?ie=UTF8&qid=1493515337&sr=8-21&keywords=male+sata and cutting off the molex connector, heat shrinking the 3v3 and the 5v5 lines SEPARATELY and wiring the -12v and the +12v lines to the vandal switch, this way when the system is powered on the 12v rail on the PSU will enable, unfortunately this also means if the pc is in sleep mode then your switch will be lit up too. this can be overcome by adding one of these http://www.performance-pcs.com/indicators-led-s-lamps/shopby/led-color--green/? to the front bezel and wiring it up to the front pwr led header. that can be done by neatly covering the front panel with masking tape after removing it from the case and removing the front switch, using a square (i prefer craftsman) and a METRIC ruler in MM measure the edges of the hole for the power switch and draw two lines parallel to the edges to slightly further then where you want to position the led, measure the distance between the lines (it should be 16mm +- 1-3mm and mark the center, then using a center punch CLEARLY MARK the spot and drill with gradually increasing size drill bits. it will be well worth it. im doing this plus an additional two leds for my boot ssd and my storage drive using these https://www.amazon.com/Data-Power-Serial-Cable-Connector/dp/B00HA130CW cables to see when each drive is being accessed
  6. You're welcome. Now lets just pray that there aren't any hiccups. I've waited a long time for this and just spent a lot of money. But I cant think of a better campaign to back.... unless there's one for a $1 cure for cancer
  7. im number 118 and i got two white models
  8. its not on indiegogo.... and there is no link on your site. what happened?
  9. You stated in your last update that the next update would be that you are ready to ship... I cant seem to find your campaign on indigogo please tell me i didnt miss it.
  10. Have i missed the Kickstarter Yet? this thread makes it seem like the kickstarter was 2 months ago.
  11. The 6600k has hyper threading? i was told today by my professor that only i7s had hyper threading and even the ark.intel site says it doesn't but i think I'm looking at the wrong page. edit: thank you. i re-read your post and now i understand
  12. I am going to be building a new gaming computer for use in the Zaber Sentry and i have chosen The following parts I aim to play PXS2 (ps2 emulator) as i can play splitscreen swbf2) and Star citizen now when it is in beta and then upgrade to a new rig when the final game comes out as i think that will be around two years from now. i understand that i cant overclock with this motherboard chip-set but i am going to be building two of these rigs: one for me and one for a friend of mine, she is a really big fan of This anime character (hence the RGB or AURA as asus calls it). the motherboard has RGB lighting and i will be adding the NZXT hue+ with RGB strips and possibly a SFX-L power-supply so that i ca remove the 120mm fan inside and replace with an AER-RGB fan with the header for the RGB interface running to the outside of the power supply so that it may cleanly connect to the hue+. I will also be using the Samsung 960 pro or evo... cant remember which one is 3.2GB read and 1.2GB write as the m.2 drive. pc-partpicker just didn't have it as an option. the machine needs to be able to play Star citizen and battlefront (both the originals and the 2015 reboot but pretty much anything with a dual core nowadays can play the originals) at about 1080p (i personally have a Square thinkvision and i intend to use it for a while unless i can find a similar resolution widescreen version on kijiji as SAYAL has these last time i was in their store. newegg.ca has the i7 6700k for about $410 and the 6600k for about $290 its only like $120 more for the i7 but i would rather save my money for the white graphics card. What would you guys recommend for gaming, auto-cad, solid works and possibly twitch streaming and occasional video editing and often adobe illustrator. i would only be doing the illustrator, video editing, solid works and auto cad one at a time and by itself. should i get the i5 or the i7 and if the i5 would i be able to do thees things i mentioned easily? Thank You Edit: i understand that i cant overclock with teh B150 chipset as i have already explained. I am getting the k model because that 6700k ran at higher speeds stock than the 6700 non k. also i don't believe in overclocking (i'd rather have my components last as long as possible instead of faster and last not as long) also because i might upgrade to kaby lake if it is compatible this time next year on black Friday. Edit 2: the zaber sentry is an ITX case
  13. What is [H]? can you provide a hyperlink?
  14. Okay I'll just be buying the Motherboard, processor, ram and M.2 drive at first as i have an extra case and a hyper t4 lying around, as well as a power supply. ill just test the Sata ports and the other IO on the motherboard when i get it to verify everything is working properly to avoid a time consuming warranty claim instead of a return or exchange. Embarrassing question... what software should i use to benchmark my system? (what software does the community use? I've never bench-marked any system I've ever built.
