  1. I've found a solution, it was only a problem due to my incompetence. All I had to do was go to control panel and disable every output except the USB B(mixer) to USB (PC) port and I got the audio bypassing using the motherboard audio AT ALL. (The output was called "ProFX 3-4 (3-4 as in USB 3-4)) obviously this will differ depending on mixer and name of the output.
  2. This is the best setup so far, again thanks for all your help
  3. You don't have to worry about finding links to recording that's probably lowest on my priority list atm. I did what you said and it worked better than before with the Piano actually sounding good this time, i went from stereo (5/6 label on mixer) to line out on my motherboard and I get a noise from my pc/mobo/soundcard/something, but only if I turn the dial higher than i have on the mixer if you look at picture below. I'm really confused now because when i plug in my headphones to the "line out" on my motherboard I get no buzzing, but when I tried 2 different stereo cables i get the same buzzing sound. It makes a very "inconsistent" static/buzz sound.
  4. Ok... so I just tested out using the mixer and it's working I can hear both audio from my PC and piano BUT there is 1 problem... my piano sound is low, it's not too low or anything but I would like to have the ability to increase it. Right now it worked without using the DAW ill link a picture below so you can see how I have it connected, so obviously headphones (sennheiser hd600 using 1/4 adapter) in the "Phones" jack and Piano output is a 1/8 cable to dual 1/4 cable into the line ports, and then usb cable into PC. So now i've eliminated the line in port completely. 1. Should I still use a DAW? 2. Is there anyway to make my piano/headphones louder without getting buzzing noise. 3. Is this an audio interface so far? PS: the "Phones" dial is dialed up to the max without having any buzzing, anything beyond that and it starts making noise. EDIT: The cable dangling is a mod mic attached to my headphones so ignore that one.
  5. Thanks ill try this when i get home from work and tell you how it goes, thanks for the help so far!
  6. Anyway you can guide/link me something on how to do that exactly using the mixer i have if its not to much trouble? I tried plugging in the mixer to the pc using dual 1/4 inch from main out on the mixer to the line in on the pc and i still get that noise even if nothing else is connected to the mixer, but i havent tried using a daw (don’t know much about it tbh)
  7. As title says, when i connect my digital piano to the back of my pc line in port and then unmute the ”rear blue in” in control panel it causes a slight but annoying buzz noise even with piano off or on, as long as something is connected to line in in the back of my mobo and i unmute the port. I’m curious what i can do to fix this, will a mixer help or an audio interface, any help is welcome. Motherboard: Asus z370-f gaming Mixer: I also have a mixer that i am not using atm not sure if it can fix anything (mackie profx6v3) (The reason i want my piano connected to my pc is so i can listen to both sound coming out of piano and sound coming out of my pc with the same pair of headphones)
  8. Hey i've been thinking of delidding my i7 8700k cpu but im not entirely sure on exactly what i need, so im going to list the items here and would like any tips or things i should add or replace. 1.Der8auer delid toolkit 2. https://www.amazon.com/Thermal-Grizzly-Kryonaut-Grease-Paste/dp/B011F7W3LU/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1541326775&sr=1-3&keywords=thermal+grizzly+liquid+metal 3.scotch tape to block off while applying liquid metal 4. icopropyl alcohol 5. high temperature silicon glue, ive heard some controversial mentions of getting poorer temperatures when resealing with silicion so this is the part im most unsure about. So is this all i need to be able to delid my cpu? thanks in advance.
  9. GTX 1060
  10. really, it worked before with the same exact motherboard, but after a reboot it stopped working. And where can i buy this argus monitor from and does it work similar to speedfan?
  11. Hi, i started using speed fan and at first it recognized my motherboard and worked fine. After a while it stopped recognizing my motherboard which made it so i cant change fan speeds anymore. I haven't changed any settings in the program or done any changes to my system. Does any have any suggestions on how i can fix this problem? thanks in advance. Specs: Windows 10 Intel i7-8700k ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING 1070 TI 16 GB Ignore the cpu usage i was doing something at the time.
  12. Hey, my pc was turned on while i was laying on my bed and then it just randomly shut down and turned back on. It has only happend once and im wondering if i should be worried about it and what might have caused it, thanks.
  13. So i can put it at 100% and test out if it allows me to increase my core clocks or not?
  14. I was wondering if it is safe to turn core voltage to 100% on msi afterburner if you are overclocking a 1070 ti, right now my overclock is 215+ core clock, 480+ memory clock and 15% core voltage and the gpu is stable. If it is safe to turn it up will i be able to increase core and memory clock up and have it be stable, also what is the negatives of having it at 100% core voltage?
