  1. Update, plugged HDMI to another port and now it works...
  2. So today I upgraded my RAM to 32gb (4x8) hyperx fury ddr4, had some issues there i.e. no memory found post beeps but got them to work after reseating but pretty quickly after that my screen went black and have no video output with my new GPU (RX 5700 (not xt)) so I'm using my old gpu since for some reason that works without any problems. Also a sidenote, I have no video output in BIOS with the rx 5700. help? pls? specs: ryzen 5 1600 asus prime-b350 plus rx 5700 / rx 480 (temporary until fixed) 16gb ram / 32gb ram (using old ram as i know that works)
  3. I just got an Avermedia AM310 microphone and im messing around with it and realised the input is insanely sensitive. I tried to go to the device properties and change microphone levels but it does nothing, 100 is same as 0. Is there a way to reduce input since I hear literally everything thats going on even outside people talking.
  4. There's updates for the BIOS but can't that brick my motherboard?
  5. Ok, hopefully it is just a quirk like you said, also just tried to reset my bios settings and such but still the same. The only thing I noticed is that this only occurs when I turn my pc on after I've cut its power off i.e. I turn off the plug or PSU, if I just do a restart it starts fine. I was just watching a jayztwocents video and he mentioned something about computers doing something similar to charge capacitors or something? is that a thing?
  6. Built the pc around a year ago, the only thing I did to it was install the m.2 drive with an adapter and windows did a few updates. For the record I had the m.2 for around a month or 2, this thing only started like 2 or 3 weeks ago
  7. So every time I turn on my pc it starts to turn on but turns off after a few seconds without posting, then a few seconds later it turns on fine as if nothing happened. Is my pc dying or is this some weird update? pls help Hardware: Mobo: Asus prime B350-plus Ram: 16gb Gpu: RX 480 4GB Drives: main drive is kingston a1000, samsung 850 evo, 1tb WD black and 1tb WD blue PSU: corsair cx60m CPU: ryzen 5 1600
  8. ok, so just checked, all standoffs are the same size, only 1 m.2 slot but its higher than the standoffs. If i were to install other sizes of m.2 it would still be at an angle. Do you recommend getting a second standoff?
  9. I checked all my motherboard boxes and no sack of screws or anything similar, im running crystal disk to check if its fine and at the moment its not dying Oh right, you mean the little screw socket, thats on there Yeah sorry i forgot to put that on my diagram. I screwed it in the standoff
  10. So i recently got a new m.2 ssd (Kingston A1000), and my pc recognises it and all, just formatted it and it works A-OK. My question is if I installed it correctly. I installed it in a asus b350-plus and it is at an angle. I made a crude paint drawing of it, dont hate too much pls. Will this damage my m.2? For the record i didn't receive any mounting screws with my motherboard so I ordered some from Amazon.
  11. my question is if i can even replace it though, i havent had a look inside yet so im not sure i can upgrade it
  12. So i got a friend to buy the hp 15-bw099sa but he said it is a bit slow in the head, my initial thought was that the HDD was slow at 5400 rpm so my question is, is it even the HDD that makes it slow or is it the processor (AMD A6-9220) or is the 4gb of ram not enough.
  13. OK, i somehow managed to fix it by turning random settings off i.e flush gpu DOF and some other crap, but i had that turned on before and it didn't stutter before so i have no clue what the hell is wrong with the game.
