  1. Didn't mean to hit that solution, but appreciated
  2. Was finally able to put together my budget and upgraded my system along with buying some countertops, paint, shelving etc and made my gaming area really what I wanted
  3. Not a reviewer just someone who has access, but can't name names
  4. Right im saying more from a confirmation standpoint from me, and currently it looks like AMD will run hotter.
  5. Wanted to give you all the juicy details. So again can't say how I know but AMD runs Hotter then new Intel. It looks like new Intel is going to be slightly faster then AMD for single core (gaming) while AMD will beat intel in multicore. Intel is going to be priced higher then AMD, and thunderbolt will be on more AMD boards. DDR5 runs excellent on current AMD 670x, Intel may release with the current chipset for 690 then release 790 later. October is when Intel is coming Intel ARC is still coming out a few weeks after Intel as they don't want to overshadow 13th gen
  6. Im the Fomo guy, if it's at least 20% faster (average) then ill build a new machine in December.
  7. Been forever since I posted, but thinking about doing a build with this for some content and fun. Anyone else interested, or just waiting for next year?
  8. The power cable is fine. The closest thing I have found is is wigig. They do the wireless for vive and steam vr and can push 120hz refresh wirelessly but its proprietary.
  9. So the whole build idea is everything wireless, just seeing if it's possible.
  10. So i am building a custom monitor mount and pc mount where they will be roughly 3-4 feet apart. They will actually be on individualized motorized mounts to be able to go into the desk themselves. The idea was was to have my main gaming monitor be able to be at least 144hz 1080p with no cables whatsoever (minus power).
  11. I have a desk build I am doing where everything will be wireless. I was just curious if there was any receiver powerful enough to do 144hz at 1080p wirelessly.

  13. Random question, assuming price is no problem, is there any company that makes a 144hz 1080p wireless gaming monitor, or adapter?
  14. This, don't by into a dead platform. Either stick with a new intel mobo/cpu, or switch to amd. That GPU BTW is also isnt going to push a whole lot more FPS than what your getting now regardless of CPU.
  15. Based on AMD's past release cycle. The new threadripper cpus usually follow Desktop CPUS by about 4-6 months.
  16. I see your in dubai based on your profile pic. Do you guys usually get parts day 1?
  17. Yes my friends it's poll time! With Ryzen 5000 cpus coming out tomorrow, who is going to try and snag one? Release Time
  18. Can they do a software patch for freesync?
  19. Thats honestly the 1 thing that Nvidia really has in the bag. They have had 2 generations to get better at ray tracing and dlss, and I don't think AMD can compete.
  20. I agree it is something that needs considering.
  21. Your a lucky one for actually getting your hands on one.
