  1. Hey everybody! ✌ So my Question is simple... I cant Decide between the Geforce RTX 2070 "the normal Non-Super" or the AMD Radeon RX 5700XT ? Which one of these Cards perform better I play at 1440p/120hz I mostly play tripleA games (assasinscreed, red dead redemtion 2, hitman etc) ps: i dont care about Ray Tracing so i dont take that into account. I looked at a dozen youtube reviews etc And i still cant make up my mind? I hope somebody can help me make this An easier choice Thanks in advance
  2. I know but i have several builds and also tried different setups: trying another gpu (rx580 + gtx970 both work fine and the cursors appear to be in perfect resolution) also tried the Strix 5700xt in another build and it also shows the BUSY cursor aswell as the HandGesture cursor in not really clear or crisp resolution plus the weird thing is that thr color is off since its darkblue instead of light blue. So its definitly the gpu or drivers. Im thinking about returning it ps: im sure other cursor icons and other things are also not in the right resolution but i noticed it rightaway with the Busy cursor and or clicking a Link
  3. Hey everybody! ✌ I just bought a ASUS STRIX Radeon RX 5700XT gpu. Everything seems to be working just fine but it looks like the mouse cursor (when its loading) BUSY, is dark blue instead of light blue like it normally is and doesnt look like it suppose to look. Asif the resolution is a bit of! I also did a clean windows install but as soon as i install the driver (latest on amd site) and it changes to the right resolution, the BUSY cursor turns dark blue and looks rather ugly, this is also the same for the hand gesture icons when pressing Links in google chrome etc. Which also makes me doubt if the resolution/sharpness in general is working like its suppose to? So my actual question is : is this a driver related issue and does anybody else experienced these same issues/problems.. and does anybody know how to fix this or atleast some advice on setting the correct settings? Thankyou in advance,
  4. i would if i could! but i don't think i can get one any time soon for that price.. not to mention it's 700,- MSRP! and i'm also from europe which would probably mean atleast 100 bucks (euro's) extra. starting at atleast 780,- / 800,- plus my budget was suppose to be € 600,- but i'm willing to go € 710,- but no more than that! so what do you think? i can get the white gigabyte gaming os 2080 for € 695,- ? at the moment
  5. Hey everybody! ??i'm still looking for the right GPU to buy, also looking for a Silent and Quiet one! ?️if i am going for an RTX 2080, which one of these would be the best Pick ??? : ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 DUAL OC EVO Asus GeForce RTX 2080 DUAL OC 08G Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 GAMING OC WHITE There are barely any Reviews ?️? on the ASUS Dual EVO version, i want to know if it's better than the normal ASUS Dual + if it's more Silent etc. ?i hope someone can help me with this..THANKYOU IN ADVANCE ? i want to buy a GPU as soon as possible,i already spend more than 2 days now trying to figure out what's the best choice, best deal and which card could be the most silent and still can't decide!
  6. Hey ya'll ???, I'm from europe and at the moment i can pre-order the: Asus GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER DUAL-RTX2070S-O8G-EVO for € 689,- euro's ( i know there are cheaper ones but the best one's are still in the 600 / 680 euro price range, such as the MSI TRIO, GIGABYTE AORUS, etc ) but on another site, i can order the: ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 DUAL OC EVO for the exact same price of € 689,- ? So my question is: if it's exactly the same price and the same Asus EVO Dual, am i better off, going for the RTX 2080? except for the price, are there any other advantages or reasons i should rather go for an Geforce RTX 2070 SUPER ? i'm still looking for the right GPU to buy, also looking for a Silent and Quiet one! ps: if i am going for an RTX 2080, which one of these would be the best Pick ??? : ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 DUAL OC EVO Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 GAMING OC WHITE Asus GeForce RTX 2080 DUAL-RTX2080-O8G There are barely any Reviews? on the ASUS Dual EVO version, i want to know if it's better than the normal ASUS Dual + if it's more Silent etc. ? i hope someone can help me with this.. THANKYOU IN ADVANCE ?? i want to buy a GPU as soon as possible, i already spend more than 2 days now, trying to figure out what's the best choice, best deal and which card could be the most silent and still can't decide!
  7. Hello, i want to buy the "ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 DUAL OC EVO" since all the 2070's Super gpu's are about € 50,- cheaper (all around 625,- / 675,- in europe) and the 2080 i want to buy is only € 689,- right now, but what i want to know is if it's a reasonable Silent/Quiet graphics card since it will be sitting in an open case ?
  8. thanks for your answer! 689,- is cheap for a 2080 right? i have a White&Black build so i also have to take aesthetics into account. i know the "MSI RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING X" is a pretty silent card but i dont like the red colors on the fans, & gold msi logo on the side. plus its only 40 euros cheaper than an 2080 and i dont think those prices will drop within a couple of weeks/months atleast here in europe. but would the ASUS RTX 2080 DUAL OC EVO be silent enough for a build with an open case?
  9. but at the 650,- / 690,- price range, would you go for the 2070 Super or the 2080 ? the 2080 is slightly better in overall performance i guess? or what advantages would the 2070 Super have over the 2080 ?
  10. i haven't seen that one yet. i guess it's still unavailable in my country at the moment. should be out within a couple of weeks probably EDIT: i have seen it. don't really like how it looks. all plastic, plus the evga logos on the fanblades! do you happen to know any other Silent, or atleast perhaps one of the most Silent RTX 2070 Super's at the moment?
  11. thankyou for your quick response would you happen to know what would be One of the most Silent RTX 2070 Super's at the moment ?
  12. Hey guys, is it worth around € 50,- more to buy the ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 DUAL OC EVO when it comes to performance ? its for gaming when choosing between these 2 GPU's : MSI RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING X € 649,- ASUS RTX 2080 DUAL OC EVO € 689,- the rest of my pc build is pretty up to date, ryzen 7, 32gb ddr4, hx850 psu, corsair platinum h115i AIO cooler etc. ps: with all due respect, i'm not asking about an AMD 5700 xt or any other card for that matter, since to many people love to deviate from the simple question about comparing 2 cards. so no, i don't want to pay 100/200 euros more & go for a 2080ti, or wait for an third party 5700 xt, or just because my budget is € 689,- should go for a € 800,- this or that. i am However, looking for the most silent gpu since my Build has an open case! Thankyou in Advance..
  13. can i turn on XMP and overclock/run them all 4 on: 2666Mhz ? or do you highely advice against it? ps: i dont know to much about overclocking memory, but i thought the HyperX versions would be easily overclockable since they do state it on their websites/product information etc.
  14. but thats not the question! the question was: 1 kit = 2x8GB (2133MHz) + 1 kit 2x 8GB (2666MHz) which makes 32GB i was planning on leaving the 1 kit (2x 4GB) out! thankyou anywayz
  15. i actually don't! but it fills up all the memory slots on the motherboard / looks nicer and more complete/wouldn't have any other use for those memory sticks. but i do get your point. but if i choose to use 32GB instead of 24GB so i mean: 2x 8GB (2666MHz) + 2x 8GB (2133MHz) at stock speed: 2133MHz it shouldn't be any problem right? since the other 2 sticks (2666MHz) will downclock automatically to 2133Mhz cause that the lowest speed ?
  16. Hello everybody , i have an older build, an i7 6700K. and i got 6 memory sticks laying around, all: Kingston HyperX (black) DDR4 4 of those memory sticks (24GB in total) are running at: 2133 MHz (stock) - 2x 8GB / 2x 4GB = 24GB TOTAL the 2 other memory sticks (16GB in total) are running at: 2666 MHz (stock) - 2x 8GB = 16GB TOTAL So now my question is: Should i just use the 24GB (4 memory sticks) running at stock 2133 Mhz ? or should i use 32GB which means: 2x 8GB = 2133 MHz & 2x 8GB = 2666 MHz and use XMP to run all 4 on: 2666 MHz or perhaps run all 4 on: 2133 Mhz ? hope someone can help me with this... Thankyou in advance,
  17. Hey everyone, I want to upgrade my graphics card for my AMD Ryzen (gaming) build. right now i have a "ASUS Dual Radeon RX580 O8G" i bought a couple of months ago brand new, that makes a lot of noise, and has this coil whine (weird sound) everytime im playing a game. ( i only play triple AAA games ) Im thinking of buying the new GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 2070 Super but im also looking for a silent card? i already know it's slightly better than the new AMD Radeon 5700 XT and that its also a huge price difference (almost € 200,-) plus+ the AMD 5700 XT are all blowerstyle gpu's for now..... still waiting.... So now my question is, Should i go for the GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 2070 Super? and does it make less noise than an AMD 5700 XT? My Build: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700 CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i RGB Platinum AIO WaterCooler MOBO: ASUS X470 Motherboard MEMORY: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB - 3200Ghz / POWER SUPPLY: Corsair HX850 Monitor: ( current + yet to buy ) LG Ultrawide : 2560x1080 / 75 Hz ?GamingMonitor? : 2560x1440 / 144 Hz i hope somebody can help me with this, Thankyou in advance...
  18. I'm probably going for the 2070 Super (GIGABYTE AORUS) but how about the Noise level? i'm looking for a Silent Card and no coil whine or weird sounds. i have an open case (Thermaltake Core P5). i have an ASUS DUAL RX580 8GB right now, and it makes a lot of noise and also has this coil whine everytime i want to play a game at high settings
  19. just the basic 2019 stuff.. 2560 x 1440 res / 144 Hz. mostly/only triple AAA games! assassins creed/tomb raider/anno/ghost recon etc.. im buying a new monitor after this build is complete so.. simply said just as "future proof" as i can make it, when it comes to the build
  20. Hello everybody, i need help deciding which NVIDIA RTX graphics card to buy for my Gaming Build, i hope somebody can help me with this! i already have my eye on 4 GPU's that might match? my Black&White build but what i'm looking for is the MOST SILENT ?️?? /most bang4dabuck ?? /orjustSimply.. the Best Choice ???? (taking Silence into account) or perhaps any other suggestions!? my build does include alot of RGB ( ASUS aura mobo / CORSAIR H115i RGB Platinum + RGB ML FANS + 32 RAM RGB Corsair Vengeance + All Corsair RGB Platinum peripherals ) thats why i also included the Gigabyte AORUS and + it's the new RTX 2070 SUPER my budget is actually around € 600,- euro's.? i also included the RTX 2080 just to know if it's worth around 50 euro's more compared to the aorus 2070 super, when it comes to performance difference ? MyBuild ?️ : AMD Ryzen 7 2700 / ASUS X470 Motherboard / Corsair Vengeance 32 GB - 3200Ghz / Corsair HX850 PSU ? / Corsair H115i RGB Platinum AIO WaterCooler These are the GPU's i'm interested in so far : ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 DUAL OC € 549, ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 DUAL OC EVO € 489,- __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ These GPU's are a little above my budget but still do'able, which one would you choose? "looking for the most silent card + its a gaming build" GIGABYTE AORUS RTX 2070 AORUS SUPER 8G - € 629,- ?? ? ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 DUAL OC EVO - € 689,-
  21. Hey everybody, i have a question i hope somebody can help me with. i recently bought a Ryzen 7 2700X CPU and an ASUS Prime X470-PRO motherboard. after i finished my build, i went ahead in the BIOS and updated the BIOS to the latest version. Then after installing Windows 10 i went to the ASUS Website (support) for Drivers and noticed the lastest BIOS FIRMWARE (which i already installed) had a notice from asus saying: "ASUS Strongly recommends to Update AMD Chipset Driver 18.50.16 or latest version before update this BIOS." So now my question is: Could there be something wrong with my motherboard now? ( everything seems to work perfectly and i havent notice any problems, errors or whatsoever. ) or is this more of a warning for an already installed Windows OS, and that i could break the OS itself? because what if i just wanted to use linux? it doesnt make any sense to me that you need to update an OS to the lastest chipset in order to update the BIOS? all i actually really want to know is if i should be worried now or not? atleast when it comes to the motherboard itself (hardware) i dont care if it could break the OS since i can always easily install it again. i hope somebody can help me with this Thankyou in advance
  22. @fasauceome thanks for your help, but the i9 9900K is € 545,- in the EU (which is my complete budget) so let me put it this way, if you had to choose between one of these 2 builds, which one would you pick/choose ? This one INTELCORE - i7 8700 - 6Cores/12Threads ASUS PRIME Z390-A mobo NZXT Kraken X62 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 - 3.5 GB Or this one AMD Ryzen 7 - 2700 - 8Cores/16Threads ASUS PRIME X470-Pro Mobo Corsair Hydro H115i RGB PLATINUM AMD RX480 - 8 GB
  23. @fasauceome its purely aesthetics! the ASUS Z390 Motherboard comes with white accents and looks great (i have a white build) for gaming - triple A games - 1080p (above 60 fps ofcourse) for workstation - adobe photoshop, davinci resolve, etc since i do a little bit of everything i need to know which one is the best one for overall performance /gaming+workstation
