  2. tried it with 3 different USB devices Also tried transfers off both my internal drives one of which is a 120GB ssd all gave the same results
  3. hi guys been having this problem with my system for a while... im getting painfully slow USB transfer speeds and not sure where to turn next CPU ; FX-6300 MOBO MSI 970 Gaming RAM 12GB DDR3 120GB SSD 1TB SATA HDD Asus GTX 750TI ive tried all the simple fixes such as making sure all my drivers are upto date along with my chipset etc currently on a USB 2.0 device my transfer speeds are 4/5mb nd USB is around 15/20MB?! any ideas?

  6. the supported RAM for this motherboard; DDR3 1066/1333/1600*/2000*/2133* (OC) most likely the ram in my opinion mate quick check on the MSI website shows the above supported Ram so prior to my earlier suggestion..sorry it not work lol however seems strange that your MOBO supports pretty much everything except 1866Mhz...unless im missing somthing https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H55ME33.html#hero-specification
  7. have you tried both through the steam program and the steam website? could be somthing as simple as that maybe?
  8. personally id take the stick out of my main rig to check weither they are working.. if they are you can go out buy some for that mobo and not worry about wasting your money or just buy it and if its no good add it to your main rig if able to do so....but thats just what id do lol

  11. hi guys, new to all this so go easy decided to have a go at entry level PC gaming and have built my first rig on a tight budget so go easy although my hardware isnt the newest on the market its enough for what i need. MOBO; MSI 970 Gaming CPU; FX6300 @ 4.2gHz RAM; 12gb DDR3 1600mHz Hyperx SSD; Kingston 120gb (os only) HDD 1.5TB SATA7200rpm GPU Asus GTX750TI 2GB PSU Atnc 550W PSU as mentioned its not great but it does everything i want it to do but ive now got "the bug" and want more! where would you go next? i was thinking of changing my GPU for a MSI RX470 8GB is the card any good? how much of a performace increase can i expect compared to the 750ti? thanks
