  1. I have a 240gb ssd which is nearly full. I got a 2tb drive last year and moved my games to it but id rather keep the ssd for windows and a select few programmes as opposed to the random stuff i have on it now. plus i think after 3 years a fresh install will be good .
  2. Yeah I've done that with steam/origin games, what about nmm?can i just drag that over to my D drive where all my games are?
  3. Can I just drag and drop from one harddrive to the other?
  4. I built my pc around 3 years ago and have decided to do a fresh windows install on my SSD, however I have a couple of games and programmes I'd rather not have to download again which are on my SSD. Is there a way I can move everything onto another of my hard drives so I don't have to re-download all my stuff again?

    New Monitor

Right, I'm a noob when it comes to monitors. I've just picked up an ASUS VG245H 75hz monitor, any tips to get the best image? Out of the box it was pretty bright so I've already sorted that. Also I had to cap the fps at 75 and then enable vsync on battlefield 1 just to get it to run smooth and get rid of tearing, will I have to do this for every game? Tia
  7. After the ram led goes off the cpu led comes back on and then goes off and the ram one comes on again. No pins are bent and the cpu + socket look fine. I have a msi Z170 g43 plus
  8. Didn't take it out.
  9. I've triple checked lol
  10. Even though I didn't disturb it or take it out?
  11. Took my pc apart to clean it, now I've put it back together the cpu led comes on then goes off then the dram led comes on for a few seconds. Any ideas what the problem could be? Won't post or show anything on the monitor.
  12. Yes! Top man, been pissing me off for the past week trying to get this sorted haha
  13. just got rid of my cpu oc and turned on xmp and it says 2133 in the bios but 1066 on cpu-z
  14. right, pretty sure its running at 1066mhz atm though
  15. I ran aida 64, and used cpu-z cpu stress test, do I need to clear cmos to get rid of the cpu overclock then do the ram oc first?
  16. Yeah its corsair vengance 16gb ddr says it supports xmp 2.0
  17. No, I have tried overclocking without using the XMP but to no avail. my cpu is oc'd to 4.2Ghz
  18. Im pretty new to this but have watched plenty of videos, I go into the bios then turn xmp on and set the speed at 2400mhz as thats the speed i bought and thats when the problems start.
  19. I'm trying to overclock my ram and when I try the pc boots and says some error about memory then loads back into old settings any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
