  1. A single 8-Pin delivers 150W I think you are correct about the adapter you got, it has the full 12 pins wired and can deliver up to 300W with two 8-Pins The original adapter for the 3060ti has only 6 pins and one 8 pin on the other side because it is made for the 3060ti which pulls 200W - So you only need one 8 pin (150W) because the PCIe slot itself provides 75W So the adapter should be fine but the safest bet would be a 12VHPWR cable - Adapters are always a little sketchy in my opinion
  2. Also the K variant can be undervolted to get the temps and power draw lower - This does not work on the non-K version
  3. What you can do is to get a contact frame and use better thermal paste Also setting Windows Power-Plan to Power-Saver might help but will cost some performance
  4. sadly intel removed the ability to undervolt non K CPUs since 12th gen
  5. Go for the Ryzen 7 7700 non x and use the included cooler (it even has RGB ) Also you can simply buy a Windows-Key from a Key-Site for less than $20 - I have done it like this for at least 10 diffrent Windows installs and never had problems
  6. Also maybe try diffrent LAN ports, on cheaper devices some ports may be limited to 100M
  7. If you go for 2 Sticks of RAM with 32GB/16GB each you can use XMP (still overclocking but 1-Click) and get up to 7000MT/s
  8. Yes, especially if you play competitive i would recommend 24" https://careergamers.com/why-do-pro-gamers-use-24-inch-monitors/#:~:text=So the 24-inch monitor, respond to the unfolding action.
  9. If you want to support Square Enix just buy some stocks
  10. WHYYY Do you want to use a diffrent launcher for every game? Does not make any sense to me.
  11. AOC Q27G2U/BK, 27" (1440p / 144hz) AOC 25G3ZM/BK, 24.5" (1080p / 240hz)
  12. It will work on desktop but might crash under heavy load due to transient spikes which are common on high end 30-Series NVIDIA Cards
  13. Could also be a corrupted windows installation - this can happen due to blue-screens/crashes but can be fixed by reparing the install. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/performance/windows-boot-issues-troubleshooting But this will only work if the HDD/SSD shows up in BIOS as Spotty said
  14. AMD 7800X3D would be the best choice for a pure gaming system with an upgrade path. Z790 is a dead end
  15. I would recommend something like a 6700xt, 6800(xt), 6900/6950xt or a 4070 if you want nvidia - there is no point in wasting money on a budget GPU because at some point you will upgrade your CPU aswell
  16. No it wont run well, the 3050 has only 8 lanes of PCIe4 on OPs system you will be limited to 8 lanes of PCIe3
  17. Dont use the AI-Overclock feature - Its pretty bad for stability and does not give you a lot of performance. A simple PBO setup will do more with less errors.
  18. 5k at 27" is beyond overkill you wont notice any diffrence to 4k at 27"
  19. If its near 100% load 95C should be fine
