  1. Don't worry I'm getting much more than 60 on CSGO and I get over 60 in GTA but it's games like EFT, DayZ, Minecraft and PUBG that my frames are significantly lower which just annoys me.
  2. Not playing anything intensive like Cyberpunk, but things like DayZ, Minecraft, Escape From Tarkov, GTA, PUBG, CSGO. Some games I can get over 60 but usually that's at low settings. And things like Escape From Tarkov are unplayable.
  3. So some people have told me I need to upgrade my CPU and mobo etc before I upgrade anything else, but my frames in the games that I play aren't brilliant, even at 1080p low settings so will I be better off getting a used 1070 for half the price of a new CPU, RAM and mobo? I'm currently running an i5 4460 on an MSI H81I mini ITX board with 8GB of DDR3 with an RX 570 4GB for the GPU. Any help would be appriciated
  4. Hey, so I'm wanting to get a new phone, and I'm a massive Razer fanboy, and when I watched the latest Razer keynote, and when they announced the second generation of their Razer Phone, I got a hardon instantly. The specs look better than the first gen, and the RGB logo just makes it. I live in the UK, and I don't have enough money to buy the phone upfront, so the only way I could buy it is on contract. The only company in the UK that has the Razer Phone on contract, is Three. Now, I'm really torn on what to do. Now cuz I'm a teenager, my parents buy my phone contract for me (i know, how white of me), and they are a bit skeptical on whether I get the Razer Phone, or just another iPhone, to be specific, the iPhone XR. I'm torn on whether to stay with IOS and get an iPhone XR, or to switch to Android and get my dream phone, the Razer Phone 2. I've made a post about the first gen Razer Phone on this forum before, and people said that if I'm just starting out with Android from IOS, then Samsungs version is more beginner friendly, but I want to see peoples thoughts about it now, because apparently, Razer has better optimized the OS. I've not watched many videos on the Galaxy s9 and Note 9 or any other Android for that matter, but if anyone recommends another Android phone, I'm all ears. If anyone has any advice on the topic then let me know, because I'd be very grateful for any advice. Maxiboy225
  5. Hey again guys, what thin gaming laptop should i buy? Thoughts are Gigabyte Aero 15X 8th Gen or MSI GS65 Thin 8th Gen Requirements are: Core i7 Processor GTX 1060-1070 At least 16GB of RAM 144Hz Screen Decent Battery Thin (Obviously) Thank you everyone for your reply, Max
  6. I leave a lot of apps open, because i forget. I game a couple of times a week, the odd game of PUBG Mobile. Screen is on a lot, just use of Instagram, Snapchat and whatnot. Sure if the case protects it well then yeah absolutel. I use a lot of YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram and Netflix, probably four or five hours a day. My iPhone 7 gets in contact with water a lot, but that's because it's waterproof, I know the Razer Phone isn't, so i know i'd have to be more careful. I'm fine with learning Android, even though i've used IOS for years. Thanks for the reply, Max
  7. Well phone things, watching YouTube videos, taking Snapchats, the occasional picture, phone calls, listening to music and that sort of stuff. I am also very clumsy and have dropped my phone many times so a glass back wouldn't be perfect, although you can get cases. The screen and the battery appeal most, just cuz i use it a lot in the day, and i am usually using a VPN which i have noticed drains the battery of my 7 significantly. Also it just looks sexy. But that's my opinion.
  8. So are you saying that i should go for the S9?
  9. So another post, was wanting to know all of your thoughts on the Razer Phone. My contract for my iPhone 7 ends soon and i am looking for a new phone. The Razer Phone has always looked very good, i just wanted to get you guys' thoughts about it. Any other suggestions would be great Thanks, Max
  10. Thank you! If i'm going to be completely honest, i'm not to bothered by bad thermals unless they thermal throttle or effect the performance. Thank you for the reply.
  11. Yeah it's, OK. As everyone else says, its a pretty old CPU and i'd advise going for something newer, also the PSU is way overkill for the build probably go for a 500 or 600 Watt power supply from someone like EVGA to save a few bucks
  12. Me again with more laptop questions. What is everyone's thoughts on the new 8th gen MSI GS65. Seriously considering buying this, is there anything i need to watch out for? Or any other suggestions? Another consideration could be the Aero 15X 8th Gen. Thanks again Max (P.S.) Hope you like the Comic Sans
  13. Budget is about £2,000 (don't know what that is in dollars), i want it to be very capable for gaming and video editing (1060/1070, intel core i7), and this will be used for college for the majority of the day (mostly taking notes but the occasional run of Premiere and Photoshop) so a good battery life. i would also like it to be portable, thin and lightweight. there is probably no such thing in a laptop but hopefully there is Thanks Max
