    Hello everyone! I'm thinking upgrading my cpu on my lga 775 motherboard together with the lga 775 to 771 mod. I've got two cpus I can choose from: Intel Xeon E5462(cheaper one) & X5450. Is there any performance difference between the two? There are mixed results on google that's the reason I ask here. I'm also thinking of doing a small overclock on it.

    Hello everyone So the problem is that after using the pc for around 15 minutes (5 min if I start cs:go) it gets shut down instantly and tries to restart (fans spinning) without any success no post or whatsoever, I kill it by holding in the power button. After waiting 10 minutes I can start it up again normally. Specs: Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 32GB DDR4 2400MHz CL14 Motherboard: EVGA X99 Micro CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 980 Ti Super Jetstream 6GB SSD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO SSD 1TB Greetings

    Ahh found the problem, changed the pins location and the pump worked now, thanks for all the replies

    The cpu reaches these temps on idle after 15 min. I was also thinking about if the pump is working, how can I check it?

    Hello guys, so my cpu is reaching temps over 90c+ Cooler: Corsair Hydro H110, CPU: i7-5820K, Case: Corsair 350D I do have thermal paste on and 2 intake fans for the radiator. Does anyone have any idea why it does it? Picture of how it is placed: http://imgur.com/OGhtdKs

    I can't even see the post screen, I haven't even touched the ssd yet. It just starts spinning fans for 2 seconds then stops and repeats endlessly if I don't hold down the shut down button to kill it.

    I checked the codes they are only codes that shows that some stuff initialization starts and that some stuff loads, no actual errors

    Thanks for the tip, I was actually wondering if I should choose between 5820k and 5930k but now when you pointed out and I searched about it more, I realised it's better to just get a 5820k and overclock it.
