  1. Well, this issue, combined with the 970 downclocking too much *rumor* is what brings me to these feelings. I mean, Amazing power consumption to performance ratio at good price points doesn't happen by magic. It seems some corners were cut in a few areas for the 970 is all i'm saying.
  2. I knew there was something seriously wrong with my SLI 970's when i could barely out perform the valley scores of my 770 SLI. I'm not very happy about this. Hopefully they can fix this with a patch. Since they must have known before hand, if they can't fix it, i want my money back.
  3. Seems that in the winter, with my houses heat blazing, my CPU really doesn't like it. I'm Thinking about finally switching to a liquid cooler, but i don't want to pay a ridiculous amount for a 15 degree difference. Any suggestions guys?
  4. Probably. My Voltage was at stock. I don't like touching voltages, but i might mess around with it later, then repost. I'm too afraid to unlock the TPD with a Nflash bios though. The extra 38mv, and 110% power will have to do.
  5. oh, ok. Well, it's not like it's a 7k score or something. It's legit. Heck it should be higher
  6. I know, i kind of didn't want to post it, but i figure it's because of my CPU, and the fact that my 970s HATE overclocking in this benchmark. After a few drivers i'll test them again.
  7. because i used shadowplay to capture a 3 second video of Valley, then used that to take a screenshot. My dual monitor setup doesn't want to directly take a snapshot of the program in fullscreen for some reason. I wouldn't fraud a score lol.
  8. 2500k @ 4.8 ghz (just for benchmarking) 2x Evga sc 970 at +30 on the core (1354 mhz) and +200 on the memory ( 7405 mhz ) 1851 I can't get a higher stable core overclock while running the benchmark, but in games it's fine. Temps never went over 67c for either card. and CPU stayed under 71c stock bios  Average: 101.0 Score: 4227 Setting: Extreme HD
  9. My CPU must be holding back my score? Can only get 3772 with my 970 SLI. (i5 2500k)
  10. Look at your processes in task manager and see if something is bogging down the CPU, Turn off all of the extra windows GUI stuff (set for max performance) Set the game to Prefer max performance in nvidia control panel Make sure your RAM isn't being slammed. Does your PC have over 6 case fans?
  11. i'm getting good fps with one of my two 970s (lawl), but the stutter is noticeable. Even with Vsync ON locked at 60fps i still get stutter. Which doesn't make sense at all, because with it off i get around 85-100 FPS with max settings (2x super sampling). It's like the game is dropping frames no matter what. Shouldn't be that difficult a fix with driver updates, and a patch though.
  12. Why did i just buy this game? Dang G2A $44 deal got me.
  13. Got mine today. I know backplates aren't supposed to help with cooling, but my card is running about 6 degrees cooler now. Could be ambient. I bit the bullet and ordered another sc 970 from amazon. I really like this card lol
  14. Clock speed fluctuations are sometimes a game issue. Have you tried using EVGA precision x's k boost? It forces the cards to run at max speed all of the time.
  15. K!, I was hoping i could just keep it for a while longer, thanks.
