  1. I am 99% sure my PSU is dead but just want a second opinion (I could be missing something obvious) Currently my computer is stuck in a power loop, powers on for all of a second then turns off till the fans stop spinning and rinse and repeat. I found an old PSU and plugged the 24pin into my motherboard, powered on and it worked. I tried the 24pin that came with my assuming dead power supply as I have a cablemod kit and again its stuck in this power loop. Is there something obvious I'm missing before I drop money on a new PSU?
  2. I've decided to get a new case to replace my tired looking 750D (Was the first case I tried to mod, and it's just becoming an eye sore in my setup) In a perfect world, I want something that will support my 360x45 rad, 240x60 and 240x30 radiators with a separate pump and reservoir. Also, all these tempered glass cases look so nice, so that is a must! Is there such a thing on the market currently?
  3. Has anyone built in the Evolv ATX that can confirm clearances? What im planning is a 360x45 in the roof, 240x60 in the front and keeping the drives in the floor but not sure how this would go?? That tempered glass has won me over
  4. Thats what I was looking for or something similar but I cant find anywhere in australia that sells anything like that
  5. Theres more than enough clearance to have the pump under the res, im just unsure how I can mount the pump to anything, I went to a few local pc stores asking for some kind of bracket but no one had anything. Only place I can think will work is over this opening
  6. Okay so I may have messed up, the parts have arrived and I realised with a third radiator I cant mount the pump to the floor like I planned... Dont know how I overlooked that but anyway, is there a way I can make that res and pump into a combo? ive seen the male to male fittings and stuff but would that be strong enough to hold it as I dont know how else I can secure this pump
  7. Okay sweet I thought so but best to double check Any experience with EK coolant? its cheaper and comes in just normal pastel white
  8. Before I purchase am I missing anything? Also, dont know if that little tube is what I needed for the return line, inlet to the res will be from the top. Fittings radiator etc is for an upgrade I was planning coming up but I figure now is probably best to do it when my system is in pieces anyway Oh, and since when does mayhems pastel ice white not exist? dont really want UV coolant but I dont have UV lights so I guess itll just look white anyway?
  9. yeah its the photon res, from what ive heard they're pretty average and after owning one I dont think I would recommend getting one (this isnt the first time this has happened btw)
  10. Ive noticed my reservoir has been going down in level over the last few days and last night noticed the coolant beginning to pool up at the bottom of the res I'm looking at replacements for my res but unsure how to go about it, obviously I don't want something like this happening again (thankfully I was up late playing games to notice it) but unsure on what res to choose as a replacement. Id like to keep the pump, and most reservoirs i look at either come with the pump or the pump needs to be separate, Cant find a res that comes ready to install a pump to make it a combo if that makes sense. Im not really fussed if the pump is separate or in a pump res combo config (prefer the look of a separate pump but prefer the money saved with a combo lol). Basically just looking for a recommendation of a new res, and ways to reuse my current pump Location: Aus Shopping: PCCG Budget: Whatever it costs to get my computer running again
  11. Sorry to take over but need to ask, how thick is the bottom radiator and how did you mount the pump?
  12. At the moment I have the XSPC Photon 170m pump res combo, and while its done its job im wanting to get a seperate pump and res. I was planning to do a clean while im on study break and figured now is as good a time as any to do so Thats my pc currently, and Im probably going to add a radiator on the bottom and move the bottom rad to the front. What would be the best way to use the pump in that setup as a standalone pump? What would I need to be able to do so
  13. I was considering getting a caselabs case, and upgrading my radiator headroom. Now corsair have released the new airflow front panel im thinking i may just add a radiator and that airflow kit and save my money. At the moment, i have a 360 in the roof and 240x60 in the floor, if i was to move the 240x60 to the front could i fit a 240x? in the floor? it would be a tight squeeze, but even just a 30m thick would increase cooling surely?
