So i bought a asus rog strix g17 laptop and it came with only 8gb and i want to upgrade to 16gb. I checked cpu-z and it says my current ram is at 3200mhz and 21CL and the only somewhat compatible thing i found was 8gb at 3200mhz and 18CL. Is it worth it or should i save up some more for a dual kit of 16 gb and entirely swap the ram out?

yeah,i tried playing Black ops 3 and it just says it stoopped working or it freezes,and i tried wildlands aswell and that just makes my screen black and i have to restart because i cant reach task manager

the file it was blocking was C:\System32\EasyRedirect64.dll

so i opened up rainbow six siege and the anti cheat said something about blocking a windows redirect file,i dont think its the driver because i update a week ago or more and this happened just now.

Well i have the cirsair void,and i can tell you it fits my dumbo ears ,i ve played 8 hours non stop and barley had discomfort and the mic is perfect,plus the sound is amazing as well.

So i had this pc for two months and it's been running everything perfecty,but out of a sudden it crashes every single game.It worked fine last night and this morning until something crashed and nothing works since.Everything seems to be working ,i dont know what can cause this. Well whats your budget?Also the one you thought is very good but if you tell me how much you can spend maybe il find smth better.Plus,nice of you to buy your sister a laptop,you're an awesome brother.

Oh,so Ram isn't SUCH a big deal but i get the idea of aesthetics,so either go to an 3rd party IT repair shop or wait around until you get a new mobo.

Sorry if i freaked you out ,i don't have any history or experience with this case and didn't read the part where you said you already ordered.I know what its like to be paranoid about compatibility ,on my first build i spent a lot trying to see if i made a mistake or smth but after a while i got the grip of how things work,the point is to do some research yourself about how each part works and where it finds and shtuff,try to do the research you've done before actually order the parts and generally have your own idea ,you don't have to listen to pcpartpicker if you know your stuff.Hope all things work,good luck and have fun building!

What are you using the pc for though?So i can understand if its urgent to fix the slot,as in do you necessarily need 32 gb or can you wait or smth til you get an opportunity to fix or buy smth new? Although it'd be a shame to have three shiny bars instead of 4,where did yo buy the mobo?Maybe you can send it back.

You know,i'm more of a better safe than sorry type of guy so thats why i'm saying he should switch either cooler or case,so that he doesn't order all this and when it arrives thing don't work and he has to send it back,i'm just saying,totally your choice man.

The only symptoms a bad cpu would show,among others,are constant crashing,overheating etc.Its clearly the slot,see if you can get it fixed or smth.

I see a small problem here,the case has a maximum cooler height of 157 mm while your coolers height is 159-160 mm,maybe switch case or cooler,tell me wich thoughThe rest,i don't see a problem.
