  1. I have been struggling to get my LG 34UM58-P calibration setting right. Either the whites are too washed out or the blacks are too dark. any suggestions would be great.
  2. Thank you for your help. Honestly I'll treasure and value your opinion highly in my up coming considerations of what 5.1 I ought to get.....
  3. Pretty well actually. I know it's the low end for the 5.1 setup and I can bump my budget to $200. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Logitech-Z906-5-1-Surround-Sound-Speaker-System-RT5-980-000467-UG-/321946237486?hash=item4af57dba2e%3Ag%3AGfcAAOSwfZ1Wayuj&_trkparms=pageci%3A02a48d04-0d81-11e7-9321-74dbd18000a0%7Cparentrq%3Aec4fd97b15a0a357195ff06ffffac6d7%7Ciid%3A4
  4. Yeah already own a pair it sennhieser 558
  5. Looking to upgrade my sound system since it broke on me. (had it for a long time) I really enjoy surround sound pc gaming and really want something bang for the buck. $150 is the absolute max I can spend
  6. its CAD.... does he really need 4 more core for CAD? and pay the extra $300 (USD)
  7. yeah you are fine. also if you can't wait get a evga 1080, join the step up program, and pay the difference for the 1080ti. I would not go with ryzen due to the poor benchmarks with gaming performance. Also get yourself a long ass ethernet cord, lines are always better.
  8. Eh, so the thing with AMD, in respect to ryzen, which pcmag does a much more full in depth review about, is that if you are a streamer, YouTuber, or do heavy multi threaded application workload 1800x and the 1700(x) is very worth investing into. if you are doing pure gaming i7 7700k or a i7 6700k are way better for that route even an i5 7600k. The 1800x and the 1700(x) are aimed for individuals who are streamers, youtubers, and does what all not with multi threaded applications on a budget. Would I get the 1800x or 1700(x) no, because I would lose gaming performance. should you get it? well if you are not either the 4 categories meant for this chip series then the answer is no. We can beat the same horse with a dead cat but when push comes to shove, which pcmag review is A+ on, is that the ryzen chipsets that are currently released do not perform as well in gaming benchmarks.
  9. could of got a 1080 from evga, joined the step up program and pay the difference for a 1080ti. not much ya can do bud.
  10. Alright so I love my current one but I want RGB and blue switches, I have no budget so yeah lol. any suggestions?
  11. both CPU are literally the same with the 7700k able to achieve a slightly higher overclock and has better power consumption. both cpu are fine for those two gpus. I would go with a 7700k since it is newer and really asus z270 a is a solid choice.
  12. use nvidia inspector if you got a nvidia card to uncap it.
  13. browns are the sweet spot between reds and blues. browns are much more quieter than blues and easier to trigger. Also to note actuation really does not matter if you type hard.
  14. I game and type and tbh blues have served me well on that part. as far as your $100 budget look at refurbished boards like from corsair. I have a G skill board, and its the red backlit with blues and love it. wish i went for the RGB though.
  15. you can get a key off of kinguin or reddit, for a lot cheaper
  16. that is odd I guess Razer pays Blue royalties then...
  17. ever heard of examples. and no they are not. WAY different build quality.
  18. ^ ok then get a Blue mic. Yeti, snowball, ect.. and get a mic boom.
  19. no one has mentioned the pump yet hmm.... yeah there should be a cpu header on the mobo plug that in. also this might seem "cheesy" but here,
  20. so wait you have a mic and yet you want another mic? hate to burst your bubble on this one MX blues are very noisy switches, you need to get rings if you want to lessen the clicky noise, but at that rate why get blues then... anyways, if you got a mic, just stick to the one you have.
  21. Why not a snowball ICE? or yeti? and what is your budget?
  22. I am looking for a new RGB kit that is not the NZXT hue+ or anything related with NZXT. I have no budget.
