Just tried still no dice the only thing that makes me think its a power related issue is the fact it just shuts off no error and reboots

oh and no system still only takes 7-10 seconds to boot to login

okay first off i just tried games on only my m.2 only my hdd and only my raided SSDs problem persists also as of no its just that one single dimm slot that doesnt work but ill go ahead and try it with that and isolate everything obviously i cant take out my M.2 cause its da boot drive also the problem is persisting everywhere at this point rome 2 rise of the tomb raider need for speed payback i hardly even get in there need for speed booted after loading and i drove for a few rise booted loading the benchmark rome 2 booted just after loading the main menu same as rainbow now

never even considered that and i watched that 2 but since all my drives seem to be working perfectly fine

so ive been running my system for a little over two and a half years 6700K on an an H110i msi Z-170A Gaming pro 4x4gb Hyperx fury DDR4 2666 msi 980ti gaming x CM V750 2TB WD black HDD and a single 250gb 850evo over the years i added an evo to raid and a NVME changed the watercooler to a s36 ect ect shits been fine usual cleaning and what not my ram started being funny first got random blue screen when i launched things like chrome or a new tab or a game or what not but only when i launched them if i got in i was totally fine playing contently throwing a bunch of mem errors and stuff so i pulled out ram till i was at 1 stick tested 1 then i added another for dual channel an i was fine now BS's then i took those out and fit the other 2 in the other 2 slots sure enough those 2 got me dem BS's. so i just sat and ran 2 sticks recently got a 1080ti and a custom loop and everything was fine and dandy played rainbow on a delicious 170-200fps instead of about a 100 on my 2k monitor for a week i decided to try all 4 ram stick to see maybe it would work before i RMA them and now it wouldnt even boot id just hop between the lights on the mobo CPU>DRAM>CPU>DRAM........... it would linger on DRAM for quite a bit usually its CPU>DRAM>VGA>done i put the custom loop in had to boot the AIO out now i got a 1080ti 6700k all on water my dumbass decided not to remove the original thermal pads<<<what i thought was the issue>>> regardless i had no problems for a 2 days then it started id be in the middle of a rainbow match and my computer would just boot me shut off wait 0.5 seconds and turn back on 0 errors did that 12 times tried to limit fps ect and it worked but wasnt ideal tried witcher 3 same thing even tried superposition benchmark and it happened near the end of the benchmark finally pulled out the card will still in the loop redid paste and used the included thermal pads replacing the original ones and hallelua no problems stoped playing rainbow for a few days played stellaris twice and had class pretty much a week no issues whatso ever i also turned off my OC of 4.5GHZ on my CPU back down to 4 and lower voltage but also no rainbow that week played rainbow on the weekend no problem i RMA'd the ram sticks only 3 slots work now so it was 1111 then 1010 and now 1011 for the ram left to right my temps couldnt be better 35ish just before it did it again just shut off no error and rebooted im thinking its my motherboard fucking with me or im missing something oh and the 1080ti is a EVGA 1080 Ti Black Edition immediately had coil whine after 2-3 days of usage it became more apparent with water block on

the worst part is another kit like this would run me 160-240$ 4x4 or 2x8 when i paid 80$ for mine 4x4 damn dem colluding samsungs and hynix and what not

im thinking about DIY but if i can find something that would be great because as of now DIY would be on the Back burner Modded MC with a Server running too i meant but im to old to go back 8 years

So recently my computer has been BSOD like a mofo left and right sometimes its a page file BSOD other times its a memory management and its rarely critical process died I did some trial error stuff to see whats up with my ram cause that was the first thing i thought of 4 sticks = BSOD 1/2(maybe even) 3 but i don't wanna run 3 sticks of ram it doesn't seem right to me so i pulled the offending 1 maybe 2 sticks of ram out as i tested with 2 then tested with the other 2 and low and behold the other 2 gave me BSODs then i got lazy to test 1 by 1 so far i can conclude the 2 i have in their havent caused a problem yet but they are on a trial run idk maybe something happens later the other 2 might be bad might only be 1 idk and yes if tried mem test and it returns no errors so its the sad life to me back down to 8gb of ram cant run minecraft with that kinda ram what i want is maybe like a little stand that would like hold the ram sticks but i cant seem to find such a thing as like a piece of memorabilia soon to be a complete set of 4 when DDR5 arrives or maybe intel pulls the stick out their ass and actually gets their shit together or AMD(my perfered ending) finally shits on intel with their 3700X when that arrives i tried for 2 hours look at places and im pretty sure someone knows something btw the ram is kingston hyperX fury's DDR4 the black kit at 2666 served me well over the 3-4 years o7 it deserves an honorable place my room and thats why i wanna find something like it
