Hello there! I've had this idea for quite a while and I was wondering if anyone could help me set it up So, I've had a Raspberry Pi 3 for a bit now and I got a flash on what I could do with it. I was wondering if it was possible to use the Pi as a sort of central hub in my house. I have a "gaming PC" with an R9 270 and a Phenom X6 1055T, which rests in my room. Thing is, the thing is really loud, so I was wondering if I could have it somewhere else in my house and use the Pi as a way to access it. I know there is Window's remote desktop application available, but I was hope to run some games off of it. I know that I'll never be playing competitive CsGo games because I expect a delay, but I was thinking some Gamecube/Wii emulation and some Steam/Origin/Battle.net games. Anyway, if any of you know an efficient way to set this up, I'd really appreciate it ^-^ Good day to you!

As long as I can have wifi, it works, I don't even care about overclocking as I have no idea how to do it
-
Well I'll be moving around quite a bit and the server is only at one of my homes, so having 1TB should be enough to keep a few games I believe. As for the mobo, do you have any better suggestions?
-
Also, I kept wondering between Intel and AMD, I have no idea what the big difference is, so if going AMD is better, feel free to
-
Can you recommend me a PSU and motherboard? Also I have a server at home with +-12TB of storage, so storage is not a big deal

Hi everyone, I just finished planning out a build and I'd like to get you guy's opinion on it : https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/Hjt4zM I'm insecure about a few things, like if its worth going for 3000 memory or if I'm doing overkill with my PSU. Also, I picked the Tomahawk Board for its onboard wifi, as I don't always have access to an ethernet cable. Thank you

Hi there! I've been looking for a gaming headset for a bit now and I've seen the HyperX Clouds come back over and over. Are they actually any good? Do you guys know any other gaming headset (with a mic) that has a good price for its performance? Basically : Budget Gaming Headsets, whadaya guys have in mind?

I know, it is looong overdue Sad story : I tried installing CsGo on it, it kept crashing. I then proceeded to installing it on my MacBook Pro (Mid-2012 with 4gb of ram), on which it ran smoothly. I doubt that what I have right now is worthy of being called a "gaming PC"

Seems about right! I believe a build like this could keep me running games at an acceptable framerate for quite a while! Thank you

I found the ASUS page for it... https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A78LTM_LE/ Is it any good?
-
This is the only writing I can see on it. Do I have to boot it to see the exact model or are you okay with that picture?
-
Last thing I was wondering. Do you think that its worth sticking to AMD? I keep hearing positive comments about Intel's Pentium, while AMD is nowhere to be seen. Also, do you think that I should upgrade the motherboard? I have no idea what kind of difference it makes

With the 2 fans, this case really does seem like a good choice! Thanks!

The RAM is a definite yes, as for the HDD, I don't need the extra storage space for now, I have a HDD with about 500gb that barely has 100gb used. The case looks pretty dope! There is only one thing that I realized : I have an phenom ii x4, not x6. Any idea on what motherboard + Processer that would make sense?

I've seen a lot of budget builds using the Pentium Processer, does the fact that it has only 2 cores impact its performances?
