I grew up in Buckinghamshire. Went to school at Long Crendon School, and then Lord Williams's School in Oxfordshire. I teach at LWS today, taking Year 9 to Year 11 students for English. They often come in and find me playing Borderlands 2. My passion is to teach, and teach I will. I have 7 GCSE's, grade A* to C. English, Maths, Physics, History, Food Tech, Drama and Computer Science. I have a First in Literacy and a First in Education.
Not worth it then, the 270X is a pretty beast card. I'd just go for that, and then if you find you DO need the extra performance buy another 270X in the future and then you get even more performance than one 280X.
I recommend either the Gigabyte P34G (The laptop I currently use for teaching and gaming) or a Razer Blade. It's thin, fast, nice looking. Only downfall is the awful screen and the lack of 1080p - Otherwise could be good to look at.
