Unfortunately, my health has gone seriously South, and I can't serve further as a CC Captain (at OCF). the_cultie is our other Captain, but not available atm. Another person will be chosen, asap. I'd like to recommend you have a vote and get a Captain to work with the other team captains, in their forum. Pre-approval is required by Axipher, whom you may contact at Overclockers.net forum. The quicker you have a captain in the forum, the better all around, imo. I'm putting in a good word for all the teams that have raced with OCF last year, to race this year as a separate team, in a multiple category format (big, medium, small teams, etc.). With the other teams in your category, you should be able to choose what the race point format will be: handicap (my favorite), non-handicap, or some mixture of the two, or possibly something completely different. Captain, keep a close eye on the details of the point format. It's been my pleasure to get to know your team a little. Having you race with us last year, was lots of fun. All the best, to you.

If you can check your mobo booklet about sata 1 compatibility, that would be good. Also, during boot up, press the key to go into your BIOS settings. See if the HD is recognized by your mobo. My older sata drive required a separate driver installed first, before it would recognize my drive. You should have any drivers needed, in your mobo disk. If not, check for a driver d/l from the manufacturers (mobo) website. Oh! Tell me you're not trying to just swap in a new Windows boot drive, from your old computer, without a new install! You can do that ONLY if the old and new mobo's and all the attached devices and BIOS, are REALLY compatible, or exactly the same.

Honestly, my eyesight isn't great, and I have flunked the Captcha a few times, trying to get registered, in the past. The proposals linked to here, are a MAJOR change to the CC folding race. New name, new team format (teams join together sometimes to race against other mega teams), new image, new point system. It's the result of a lot of discussion, with a lot of different teams, including idea's from Whaler and Warmon. There is still lots of competition, but you need cooperation as well, especially between the teams that make up each of the very large mega teams. Each team will be racing under it's own name this year. Outside recruiting must be done at least one month before the start of the race. I surely loved having you guys race with us last year, however! That WAS fun! More teams will be asked to join in the race, so it should be a lot of fun, and result in a lot of extra points for FAH, as well. EVGA is debating whether they want to race, or ??.
