My Sennheiser HD 558 is due for replacement and I don't know which headphone to get. After using the 558s, I've narrowed it down to closed headphones because the 558s leaked too much noise and I'm disturbing everyone around me and vice versa. I was thinking of getting the Sennheiser HD 380 Pro because I heard it's like a closed version of the 558 which I really like. However, I'm trying to see if maybe something else would be a better choice like the SHR440 or M50x. Since I live in Singapore, getting the SRH440 would be great because I can just go to a headphone store and get it at a reasonable price (S$169, US$99) compared to the HD 380 Pro (S$249, US$99) and I do not need to pay shipping fees or wait like 2 weeks for it like I did for the 558s.
I listen to electronic music from St. Vincent, Chvrches... And others like Florence and the machine or BANKS. I don't listen to dubstep or pop/hip hop music and I do not need too much bass but I don't want a completely flat sound. The 558s were pretty good playing the music I listen to.
My budget is you can already guess is around USD$100 or up til SGD$200
