  1. For $300 you can't build a good computer at least not anymore, thats why i said that you should buy second hand from your local retailer or online marketplace. AC Valhalla is a AAA game, and not made for potato gpus.
  2. Maybe checkout this https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Profile-Graphic-02G-P4-6333-KR/dp/B071LGVBDM/
  3. Just a quick tip search for Nvidia T1000.
  4. If you want cheap graphics card you can always look for quadro cards too... people always forget that they exist (if you find one that's better or cheaper then the 1030 then go for it).
  5. Buy used from local or online retailers. What will you use your computer for? Gaming/work/server?
  6. As i was researching the different cable types i encountered that they measure their resistance in a specific frequency range (using cat5 measurement spec they specify @100MHz). I wonder how the USB 2.0 or 3.x frequency is calculated, because you can measure it between pockets or a string of pocket. But i found that the minimum response time is 940ns using 1 byte of data. So f=1/T ==> 1.06382979MHz. Since usb uses differential signalling that changes slightly. My question is that at what frequency should i measure the cable to meet the specification? (I want to build my own cable because it's cheaper then buying from a chineze company with iron instead of copper cables running inside of the cable.)
  7. I want to make a long cable 26ft/8m using cat5e. I'm considering ethernet cable because it can deliver up to 1gbps speed and usb 2.0 is using only 480mbps. I will connect this cable to my usb hub at the other end of the cable unfortunately it doesn't have power in. Will this long cable provide enough shielding for transferring data to my audio dac, keyboard and mouse and maybe other devices like a pendrive? I considered building this cable using a guide i found https://www.instructables.com/Creating-you-own-USB-cables/. I know that there is a 1.7u sec limitation due to propagation delay, but i think it will deliver a clean signal overall. I'm more concerned about the resistance of the long cable, which is why i'm here asking which pairs of cables within the cat 5e do i have to use for the data(D+/D-) and power(VCC/GND)? I considered using one pair for D+ and D- and 3 pairs for VCC/GND. Is it a bad idea using only one pair for data?
  8. But it's really interesting that my graphics card, that consumes more then 2x the power of my CPU works perfectly, without a hiccup so i suspect a dying CPU rather then a bad PSU. Other opinions about my PC restarting when hit with a load?
  9. I don't think if this is the case, because it is working like a charm, and i measured it with a multimeter earlier.
  10. Because it's a brand new Seasonic 650W unit. And if that was the case why would i still write this reply on it? It just restarts when i hit it with a load and the audio is cracking. I think the CPU or the RAM is the problem, but it could be the mobo too.
  11. Hi, I have ryzen 3700x with gigabyte x570 elite and a 16gb of patriot 3600mhz memory. I recently updated my bios to F30a, and my audio is cracking and sometimes the pc reboots when hit with 100% load. The PC worked flowlessly for over 4 months now but suddenly it keeps crashing. IDK what causes the problem, please help me out. I even "reupgraded" the bios to the version F20, because i don't have the F13 bios files that was before on it, and I didn't want that old version on it. PS: not the PSU is the problem
  12. Does a cheap power supply effect the overall sound quality of these toppings?
  13. My onboard sound coming from the motherboard is very bad sounding, and i want to buy an external USB dac. I was looking at smsl su-8 v2 but it is a bit old now. I don't need headphone amp, because i will hook it up to my separated amp / preamp. I'm not a big audio dac IC specialist but i looked up that ak4499EQ and ESS ES9038PRO are one of the best dacs. My budget is 300$ max. Please help me out because i'm lost in this topic because there are too many options. Some say that Topping dacs are great but i'm not sure about that, and for this amount of money the dac needs to play at least a DSD 512 file.
