  1. The MSI GE72 was something I was looking at already. Ideally I want 17" as I feel the 15's are just too small for my eyes!
  2. Recently been feeling the need to update my desktop PC (i3, 7850) so its well out of date. But I now don't spend enough time at home to grant building another desktop. After something with an i7, SSD, 960M or better and a 17 inch screen. I'd like it to be able to play games such as Battlefield on High graphics settings with at least 50+ FPS with no drops. Not fussed on the weight or size of it. Been looking at the ASUS RoG versions and MSI but don't have a preference. As long as it works how it should and has warranty as I know a Laptop will have a shorter life span than a desktop. Has anybody got any recommendations or personal experiences? Thanks.
  3. Currently own the Logitech G430s. They were great in the beginning but have slowly got worse and worse. (audio crackles, volume isn't as loud as it used to be and wire is tangled) I'm trying to find a new headset with a budget of around £100 but struggling as I don't know alot about audio so that's why I am here. If my budget allows I would prefer a wireless headset with 5.1 surround. any help is appreciated
  4. I have other money set aside for the car, just the more money obviously the better one I can get but that's going off topic so.. PSU is a Antec 620W 80+. Thanks for the advice on what things I should get when and why but what I really would like to know is what exact products would be the best for my budget.
  5. But like I mentioned in the OP, my 7850 is being bottlenecked by an i3. Think about how much more a 770/780 will be bottlenecked if used with an i3.
  6. With that CPU and Motherboard I'm already 98% into the budget. Thanks for your advice but it's not really useful.
  7. That would be a good thing to do but it isn't needed. This build can currently run most games on High at 45/50 FPS.
  8. I've gathered a bit of money to upgrade my PC but I don't know where to start or what parts I would need more. I currently have... CPU Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz Motherboard Gigabyte H61MA-D2V GPU 2048MB ATI ASUS HD7850 Series Hard Drives Seagate 500GB I know a better processor would be better to prevent my 7850 from being bottlenecked and I would also like to buy a 1080p monitor to replace my 1680x1050 monitor. I also think a SSD would be a good addition to the build for OS and maybe a game or two. My budget is around £250-£300 but I'd like to spend as little as possible as soon I will need to put money towards my dream, first car. Thank you!
  9. Yeah I've been looking at them but I'm not sure which is the right one for my build. Edit: The Asus Z87-K may be the mobo I have been looking for. Edit 2: After talking and thinking more about a Black/Gold colour schemed PC I went ahead and created a dream PC on PCpartpicker. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2hSXd
  10. Yeah I'm currently in the process of changing a few things on the list. Im trying to find out which is the best Asus motherboard (black and gold colour scheme preferably) within the <£100 price range. I'm currently trying to RMA my 7850 but I get this message: "Sorry we are unable to log this product via this form" when I enter the serial number. So I'm just thinking of buying a new GPU when I can afford it.
  11. Ikr.. I've been a budget baller up until now but don't worry, a 1080p monitor is coming soon!
  12. Ok, I'll just have to see whether I could fit a IPS monitor in my budget along with the other upgrade I would like to have. Thanks.
  13. Well the list that I call my "upgrade list" is virtually a whole new computer minus the GPU, PSU and HDD.
  14. Yeah, I've figured since I've got a bit of money to throw at my PC now I might aswell make it look good at the same time. I've had this 7850 for 3 months and to be honest, it isn't bad at all for the price. Apart from the crashes and issues I've had with it the price to performance ratio is great. I can run BF4 on High at around 45+ FPS. My next card will hopefully be something like a GTX 780. Thank you
  15. Don't worry. This was a pre-build that I was stupid enough to buy 2 years back. But since then everything else I have bought I have installed myself and made sure none of that stuff happens. Also, that is why I would like to upgrade my CPU and eventually buy some new sticks of RAM (higher speed, colour schemed).
