  1. Just wanting ideas on what you guys use for organization? Evernote, Springpad & Onenote seem to be the popular choices. I'd love to know on how specifically you tie them in your everyday use.
  2. What's holding your performance back is the VRAM, 2GB is not sufficient for 3 monitor gaming. Ideally you'd want 4GB of VRAM but 3GB+ works as well. As I'm sure you're aware having 2 cards in SLI will not double your VRAM. I'd personally go with the 290 as it has 4GB of vram but the 780 ti is no slouch either.
  3. I have an H100i and I'm not sure where to plug the fans. The H100i itself has a 3 pin connector which Corsair says to plug into the CPU_FAN header. The H100i itself also has places to plug in the fans and control them via Corsair Link. However, if I want to overclock via AI Suite, should I plug the fans themselves into the CPU_FAN connector? Can I plug something into the CPU_OPT such as the H100i and then plug the fans into CPU_FAN? What is the purpose of the H100i's 3 pin connector?
  4. How much performance difference is there between the 3930 and 4930? 5-10% im guessing? What is the reason to get a 4820 vs a 4770?
  5. Can you tell me what the difference is between a 3930k, 4930k and a 4820k?
  6. I have a hero mobo and I'm buying A-14 fans for case cooling. From what I've read only the CPU_FAN is PWM. So would getting PWM versions of the A-14 be a waste? Should I get the FLX or ULN versions?
  7. What about the two other ones, what's the difference between them?
  8. Between these GTX 780's, is there any difference besides the increased stock overclock? And more importantly to me, do any of them have a backplate included? If not, where can I buy one? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8181478&CatId=7387 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8428289&CatId=7387 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8521679&CatId=7387
  9. As with SSD's, in real world performance there will only be a difference of 5-10%. So IMO unless you're an extreme enthusiast just get whatever is cheap and reliable!
  10. Either Push (Fans take air and push it through the fins) or pull (fans suck in air through the fins) have about equal performance. The advantage with going pull is that it's much easier to clean the dust build up (as shown in the video above) where as in push you have to remove the fans and clean the dust. Go with pull if you can but sometimes pull isn't possible with cables in the way.
  11. Is the NVIDIA bundle deal over? I'm looking to buy this card on newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121779 But I don't see the 3 free games anywhere.
  12. I think that was the issue. I ran Intel utility and max temp was 59. Looking at Prime 95 it immediately spikes the voltage to 1.264.
